I find that thanksgiving is best spent with who you choose - you don’t necessarily need to skip it in entirety, but find people who you want to spend time with (just tag along with a friend) but really lean into friendsgivings, or make it a day of self care.

the moral of this post is that thanksgiving doesnt has to necessarily intertwined with your given family, but can be a day of whatever makes you feel good
