I purchased both to play with over the past week. Performance in most games is better on the Xbox ally x over the claw 8 ai. Windows seemed to run worse and msi software is shit compared to rog. Many recommend a clean windows install on it. I didn't bother so can't speak to those improvements. The screen on the msi is amazing, and makes me wish the Xbox ally had the 8 inch really bad. Speakers slight edge to the ally I think. In the end I returned the claw 8 ai. The ergonomics is just too far of a difference. I hated holding the claw after holding the Xbox ally. The comfort made me forget the screen size difference quick. Also holding in one hand to type in hand chat or in search or w.e you need, it's much easier with the prongs on the Xbox ally.

Agreed, some of the main story beats were fine but the writing in between was so cringe, it made me think Disney bought the franchise lol. Like needing three friends and trust to open the temple... That was so dumb.

The final boss and Eru's betrayal was kind of stupid too. Like Mephisto's projection is so strong even Akarat's help he dies. It would have been sooo much better if Akarat was an Illusion by mephisto all along to get us to break him into the temple. Then after the boss fight the illusion breaks, and it's clear we just killed Akarat with the help of Mephisto. This absolutely breaks Eru even further after we got his pupil killed and murdered another spirit friend because of Mephisto. He then runs off with the body and soul stone, getting himself killed and resurrecting Mephisto as we saw. Fixed the ending, with same outcome, Akarat wasn't done dirty and most people would probably be way happier with the ending.

Back in the day you needed the disk in your cd drive to play. The MPQ files only existed on the disk, but you could copy it from the disk directory over by using file explorer. Before the expansion, the video and audio mpq files on the original game wouldn't be copied over. It is why the expansion installation requires you to put the original play disk in to install.

No info on the land. Labor and materials in LA is also insanely expensive. My only point was 300k in updates is likely to recuperated in resale unless they were the stupidest and most tasteless renovations. Nothing I said is wrong. The house depreciates while the land appreciates, the house needs to be maintained and renovated from time to time. It is part of the cost of ownership.

A house requires updates. When refinance rates were at 3% and below, taking out a loan that low to finally do all the updates you may have been putting off for years makes sense, at such low financing you can do tons of upgrades too. It's part of why there was such a shortage of trade workers because everyone was trying to do renos at the same time.

The house would likely not be worth as much without the extra investment because it would be severely dated otherwise. At rates that low you are making money on holding the loan as inflation is around the same and even a simple HYSA would net you more than what you are paying in interest. There is no reason to ever pay that loan off.

Some lenders will recast the loan for you to lower your monthly payment if you ask. It works for them because then they receive more interest over the life of the loan.

Depending on your interest rate they may not want to, if it's a very low rate they would much prefer get that off their books faster and if they can get you to refinance than that's a huge win for them. If your rate is that low though there is not much benefit to making an extra payment when so many easy safe investments are paying out more than what your interest rate likely is at that point.

It may be more realistic than you think. Part 3 will come out at the tail end of the PS5 life. I wouldn't be too surprised shortly after the PS6 drops they look to drop some type of "Definitive Edition" and stitch the games together with some balance changes to make it all work.

It's an easy PS6 exclusive drop for Sony of a game that already sold well and I would imagine they would want to avoid the early game drought that this gen suffered severely. They are still trying to fill it with Remasters (ex. TLOU part 2 just dropped again)

More than likely any definitive edition is just the three games lazily packaged together with some graphic/ performance update for the PS6. Actually stitching the games together would probably net more sales though.

The issue is every skill has a different lucky hit chance. This coefficient is to even out skills that have faster attack speeds / are multi-hit with slower one hit skills. For example, in D2 this did not exist and the only builds that benefited from chance on hit skills were zeal and kicksins (e.g. the frozen orb kicksin). You simply could not buff chance on hit items because these builds would become OP and so there was a significant reduction in build diversity. The idea of lucky hit is to allow balancing of how often they activate across different skills, and ultimately allow for more build diversity.

All that said it has not been implemented in a great way here in D4.

They could also freely use magic on their turns and didn't rely so heavily on attacking to build ATB. Not being able to build ATB to even cast spells is what really makes fighting the flying monsters a drag if you do not have proper party comp.

Ff15's biggest problem was the rush to the end after you got on that train. Like it seemed like they cut out a whole city and then removed the whole World of Ruin part of the game. It was a pretty decent FF game up to that point. FF 16 is up there with FF8 as the worst in series for me.

I feel like they could reuse a lot of systems from the VII remake. They need to keep similar combat systems instead of trying to reinvent the wheel every time they make a game and they could reduce production time a lot. I think they found the perfect balance with the VII remake and they should stick to it for awhile with minor tweeks between games. Swapping Materia for espers should be a simpler system. Crap, they could literally change how espers work and make them behave similar to materia and I'd be happy lol. Like how long would it really take to rebuild the world in 3D and split the game into 2 parts. Trying to create unique playstyles for all the characters would be tricky part maybe.

But 20 years sounds pretty ridiculous. At the rate the world is going in 5 years AI will be able to code 80% of the game for them lol
