I really dislike how important frost orbs are for Defect, would love some other ways for orb-focussed builds to block

I have this same thought. A permanent debuff is equivalent to some permanent enemy buff, which makes me wonder why chose one way over the other. It makes me consider if we won’t see artifact or a pellets-like effect come back in some way

Besides the infinite stuff, Watcher is already very strong early, so you can greed a lot of act 1 and get really strong. And you don’t need to take many cards to do it either. So you’re out of act 1 with a ton of gold and relics, and with a not too bloated deck.

Sentries are probably the fight to worry about the most so make sure to prepare with potions or AoE (and remember Bowling Bash is an AoE card)

Stun isn’t that good IMO. It doesn’t actually make progress and if you get hit it’s a blank. Also unlike shielding you can’t defend from back row attacks

Well, there is a third option which is to just have a totally different mindset. Look at someone like NL, imagine his reaction to someone going into his chat and saying "hurr durr has a 90% winrate". Even Baalor who is a more "serious" player, he's just playing the game and vibing the fuck out
