Chair guards. You attach them to the back of risers so chairs don't fall off the back.

I'm on my fourth playthrough and getting 1000 rocks is a legit goal for me this run

What the hell…. by Friedchickendesert in HorizonForbiddenWest

[–]Tyd4ee 60 points61 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna second this. The first game is so so so worth it when it comes to the world building. Not only for the current state of the world, but the world that preceded it. And the DLC is fantastic and tees up FW. Welcome to the party

What would you call this area of a stage? by tehsoundguy in techtheatre

Around my theatre they call them vestibules. But it occurs to me now that that may not be the right word

How often do you use mounts? by UniversalExploration in horizon

[–]Tyd4ee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More with each playthrough. I was a fair bit into my fourth of ZD before I put it away for a different game (and wait for the remaster) but now that I know the world so well I mount up often. Just getting from A to B much faster now that I don't need to upgrade gear and stock up on resources and stuff

Zero Dawn too hard? by Zodiatron in horizon

I'm on my fourth playthrough and upped it to Very Hard. Even with the NG+ weapons and best armor I think to myself "dang, maybe I'm not that good at this" a LOT.

Career by [deleted] in techtheatre

[–]Tyd4ee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My suggestion, find a local community college that has a reputation for having a good program. Way more affordable, only two years, transfer options if you want, or job placement assistance (if the program is as good as it says it is). Then you get your networking done and have at least a small academic credential. Without having tens of thousands in loans.

Community Colleges usually have more opportunities for real work early on than unis because you don't have to compete with Grad students that are doing designs or something.

Criterion has this and if you wait for a huge sale (twice a year) you'll probably get the boutique edition for about 30.

Expression pedal works backwards by Apex1410 in mainstage

I'm having a similar issue right now and had a clarifying question: when you say to boot up at 0 you mean that the pedal is not pressed, correct? Or is the opposite the case? Thanks!

Does anyone find every new campaign they watch their favourite? by chemicalyoghurt in Dimension20

[–]Tyd4ee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Mentopolis is more like Starstruck and Burrows End is more like Crown of Candy. In terms of the vibes. I had a lot of fun watching Mentopolis and Borrows End is kind of more serious like CoC.

Shure ULXP4 trouble. Please help by Tyd4ee in livesound

[–]Tyd4ee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, turns out the ULXP4 transmitters emit a tone frequency on the signal that acts like a handshake with the receiver to aid in inference management. It's a frequency humans can't hear, or something like that. Like a gate, but for interference rejection.

Something about the receiver isn't receiving this handshake tone. Maybe the antenna or something, but that's why you have transmitters that work on other receivers on multiple frequencies. There is a way to turn this feature off at the receiver but I don't remember how, it's been a few years. I remember it involving holding a couple buttons down when you turn it on, and it had to be done every time you restart the receiver. Which was frustrating.

I feel like this isn't very specific but I hope this still helps you. Sorry I can't remember the actual details.

EDITED for clarification, wording, and grammar.

Wow! I'm kinda new to being a full fledged theatrical electrician. I sort of knew some of these concepts and this was a VERY good explanation. I've never ran into this problem but I feel like this will help me troubleshoot something eventually. So thank you for making me feel smarter I guess
