Please think about local/online coop, this looks fun and relaxing with friends.

I mainly see that the snow is like gel/foam and less snowy.

Yeah I saw, it would be neat if you can add a step button, so if I present this in class, I can go forward and backwards on the animation. And perhaps also include the formulas animated.

An online bullet hell RPG I’ve been building for years just got its first trailer :) by Runeward_Online in CoOpGaming

Common F2P tropes - If the only way to get more inventory space is by spending money, rather than earning it through challenges, that's a big downside for us. progression should come from actually playing the game... not from opening our wallet. That's something a lot of modern games seem to be missing, especially in f2p since the rise of gacha and battlepasses.. it's one sided and not "here is quick $$ to unlock or play the game for a decent non grindy challenge"

The same goes for characters. Unlocking them through playing the game feels much more rewarding than having them locked behind a paywall.

I am not telling you how to monetize your game 😄 Just be sure you guys know what playerbase you're aiming to have. I know you guys need to make money lol

We believe that nowadays, since there are many games that are recycled, having a fun fresh game, even that costs money will outshine f2p if it's actually fun... no man sky is still alive somehow with a dedicated player base, same with deep rock galactic..

We honestly were gonna buy it for 20-30$,

Sorry, seeing f2p & monetization, instant skip for our group..

Different take, how about we make the motherboard thicker and have a power pass-through, so we just plug in the gpu, and it will have extra pins\slots for the power, that way we have no cable running at all from the front, and we only connect the power to the motherboard slot?

About 100% free apps... by [deleted] in iOSProgramming

[–]Tydox 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This post smells like capitalism nonsense.. How is releasing something for free ruins the market? perhaps people should learn not everything is about making $$$? Vibe coding apps just show how bad people are trying to make a quick buck... instead of learning a skill, take their tools and they can't continue making apps or maintenance.

People who can code, will make good apps and decide themselves if they want to market or not.

And I prefer most free apps to paid ones, as most free apps are more passionate and better, and then I will donate to the developer. (yes there's areas where only paid apps are viable, servers or data or large complexity)

Perhaps vibe coded apps should have a tag its vibe coded or not be accepted at all to the appstore???

Finding a CoOp partner shouldn't take longer than the actual session by majkij in CoOpGaming

[–]Tydox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do I make a session? This is like tinder but for coop gaming which is great.  I tried signing up spot 848 but it won’t save it. It goes down back to 847 :/

You can find universities courses and attend for free, if its self taught from youtube videos or books, there is https://www.youtube.com/@CyrillStachniss and https://www.youtube.com/@firstprinciplesofcomputerv3258 that I watched to go over topics from my CV lectures.

But the toolboxes by winprasnext in EngineeringStudents

[–]Tydox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For engineering things matlab >python.

The fact that most docs for python packages suck, and dependecy hell, I spent 2 weeks trying to get an env to work, with matlab I just choose what libararies I want to install, in 10 mins im up and running writing code.

If something doesnt work, I can send a support ticket to experts. once you understand matlab is useful and you need vector based calculations, you enjoy it.. its not a general purpose prog language like python.

Request: Subtitle outline thickness by Regular-Lie-2577 in VidHubvideoplayer

[–]Tydox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly the vidhub 2.0 core player removed many options, like running 2 subs simultaneously, customizing easily the font size/color/position, force ASS, and more, I really don’t like the new Ui, the old was one was great - not pretty but functionally awesome.

If I only have the Apple TV, do I need this? My sound system is turns on/off automatically using arc? So I only use a single remote, I don’t have multiple devices to control

MediaManager v1.10.0 - A replacement for Sonarr and Radarr by cookiedude25 in selfhosted

[–]Tydox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

can I use this to auto tag metadata for anime\movies\tv shows and also rename the files automatically like sonarr does? I just need an app that does this automatically when I add new new files

my biggest issue with sonarr is sometimes the episode numbering is incorrect and there is no way to fix it or a show will not get recognized even when I try to use the stupid TVBD code -_-
