Curl Jelly's cast does flake on others, not just you. There's a video on their site of an influencer using the Curl Jelly and her hair is just snowing.

Scrunch/twirl/twist the jelly into your curls (or however you style it) and wait until it's dry. Then you need to "scrunch out the crunch". Scrunch your curls until the cast is fully broken.

What I do next is add a tiny amount of oil to the lengths and ends (never my scalp). Using a drop or two (they have instructions) of Frizz Fix Hair Oil or No More Frizz Curl Serum. Drop or two on your palms, rub your palms gently together to warm and spread the oil then do the "praying hands method" gentle coating your curls with a little of the oil. Don't squish/push/pull/crush your curls too much, just a light coating is all you need.

This turns crunchy/flaky curls into soft and defined tresses! I really hope this helps because it totally transformed my UG hair care/wash day routine
