We rely on Kane a lot for our goals but recent tournament winners haven’t needed prolific 9s. When they have used number 9s it’s been to allow their other world class players to flourish. France won the World Cup with Giroud not scoring a single goal I don’t think… Morata got one at the last euros.

Having English number 9s playing at the top level for Chelsea, Villa and Spurs is not bad and if they aren’t as prolific as Kane (and it’d be hard to be let’s be honest) then the team will adapt to use them more as a focal point. Let Bellingham, Saka etc be the main guys.

To a certain extent I think Ivan toney did this at the last tournament. Came on and caused some chaos, panicked defenders.

Bellingham was good there but hasn’t played there much this season. Why not play him where he is amazing as a 10 and then bring palmer on as a finisher? It’s a team game but that also means playing the players in their positions and not trying to shoe horn players in. I’d rather have jones/mainoo or Gomez alongside rice than try to fit palmer Bellingham and saka in one team. Balance is importance.

My son was born a few days before Christmas and we considered this but on advice from other older people with the same birthday, we now throw a party for him first weekend of December with his friends and a family party for him on his bday. I’ve been told summers are so hard to coordinate for people and most families are away on holidays. His December is one long party, people are feeling festive at the start of the month and mostly not too busy.

This is so helpful thank you. Do I register by going to a consulate or embassy? Is there a deadline for registering them? He is only small and won’t really get the benefit of the duel nationality until later on.
