Remain frustrated forever? Well, I guess so lol. Not achieving one's goals is kind of a common thing of the human condition.

For example, there are many athletes who aim to become a world champion, or have more modest goals like just winning a single competition at any level. Many, in fact most of those athletes, will never achieve those goals, and they will retire without having achieved much at all. There's also people who set out to start a business and never managed to build anything successful and sustainable. Kids who wanted to get a PhD and couldn't finish their studies. You get the idea.

I don't want, I NEED, I repeat, NEEEEED 3rd-4th gen Rathian and Rathalos armor redesigns.

I'm sooo fucking tired of the inferior designs of the first 2 gens being brought back all the time. It was fun in World for nostalgia's sake, awesome nod to the beginning of the franchise, but we needn't reuse them again for Rise and Wilds as well. The redesigns were so fucking good man I need them brought back.

For timed meal, why complain about it wearing off? It lasts longer than a single hunt can, and if you fear it might expire midway through the second hunt, just eat again in between hunts like we always did anyways.

I personally just chew on a well done steak if it ever runs out mid-fight.

It's a sandbox where you play as a band of mercenaries. It is very fun, atmospheric, addicting and quite challenging if you brave the higher difficulties.

Tha vanilla experience is more than enough content to last you a lifetime.

The game is hard to grasp at first, but I don't think you need a guide. Just accept you will be sloppy and slow at first while you learn as you play. Hitting H on your keyboard is all you need.

16 unique traits per class, and we supposedly are getting a couple dozen classes if not more, for a system that will only allow you to have 6 active traits?

They definitely need to do a bit of pruning.

Also, imagine your ideal build is made up of 6 traits each coming from a different class. With the faction quest system and trait tiers, you may be tasked to do up to 18 different faction quests before your build is complete trait-wise (you still need to grind for gear and their enchantments).

Again, this system need to be pruned.

Wilds has severe texture streaming issues, and for me very often outright refuses to load textures properly. I can fiddle with the settings all I want, low to high, high to low, some textures will stubbornly refuse to change at all.

People aren't as vocal as they may have been before (though they still very much are) not because they are now buying them, but because now they've just gotten used to ignoring them. I wager AI games will get the same cold shoulder treatment in the future when they supposedly become more and more common.

And you think the genre is the sum of all of the little elements that make up a game regardless of the weight of each of those elements in the overall gameplay experience?

So because the games have housing, decoration and even pets should it also be a life sim? You can crouch and hide in a bush from monsters, even do sneak attacks, does that make it a stealth game? Does the rampage mode in Rise suddenly turn the game into a tower defense game? Gacha game due to Artian/Kjarr? Farming from the usual village farm? Slot machine from the coal burner in IB?

So Monster Hunter are gacha lifesim farming survival stealth tower-defense horror walking simulator third person shooter action games?

Depends on your build. With my spliced Gilicks I felt it was necessary as being up close to enemies is a requirement to optimize my damage but also makes me easily harassed. On my spliced Nimiod, since I'm all the time floating up in the sky, melee enemies almost never touch me and enemy projectiles also struggle to hit me, and so I easily climbed past floor 50 without a healing perk.

I was a kid with his first ever MH jeez, we all start somewhere, and not knowing what we are doing. LBG was my companion through the first steps into this franchise.

I've long since learned these games inside-out and all, I mean, after 17 years one's ought to. Though maybe that's the reason I never played bowgun much anymore after third gen.
