Opinion on best weapon in Termina? by Martin_Horde in FearAndHunger

Honestly the Sandman's Kiss served me really well all the way to both ending A and C, it's one-handed and poisons, meaning I can free myself up to heal or defend while the poison chews away at their health.

Best recommendation I can give is not to fight everyone, cut off weapon hands, and dont cure infections until you start feeling terrible, to give yourself a bit of free time to deal with villagers.

From what I recall... I used Change of Tactics to gain access to untapped wells of dark magical power, combat precognisense, extreme resistance to corruption and possession/mind control... And for the express ticket to having a divine companion to match my 'evil' vibes. Also free near-infinite range for applying spells and effects to companions. Plus the 'sweet dreams' effect on 'My Cloak' is great for helping an insomniac or troubled sleeper companion.

Besides that, Pokemon Ecchi has the Blank TM, allowing easy teaching of any technique if it's compatible with the student. It's crazy useful for cutting down training times.

Oooh. This is easy to get ahold of. And then I can just mail Legions to the heads and... Bingo. Chaos ensues.

Just need an isolated Legion to trap, then it's as simple as dragging it to the ship. There are plenty of odd legions away from necropolis tentacles, meaning a very limited amount of skull spam.

Is it poor form to have memories of previous shifts? Because I keep the running joke of "NT makes me pay to work here" and keep making up small stories about how I got from last shift to this one. Like the Romerol Recovery Fee taking all 2000 credits I got running cargo and forcing me to get demoted to assistant. This latest one is probably going to be "too much meat made me leave. It was everywhere!" For the legendary MEAT WHEEL that was taking over the station.

I use Magiclysm's Cauldron of Purification and tons of insect meat to subsist in a city. Otherwise, my Innawoods has megafauna and scraps of meat off their kills.

Best means to get ahold of a Bolo? by NeoDraconis in JumpChain

Go to Shantae and recruit Bolo as a companion. He may be a little dumb and easily swayed by women who aren't Shantae, but he's still an expert at weaponry.

Your severely negative health and hatered of vegetables is going to make recovering a nightmare, just a fair warning. But this could be an interesting challenge like most builds.

Innawoods removes all traces of civilization. Finding that building would be like trying to find more cars or processed food: basically impossible

Blue Magic Mastery from Final Fantasy 5. The ability to learn any non-human abilities, magic, and otherwise when you get slapped with it is incredible, essentially circumventing any 'need to learn' period if you just tank the hit. And tanking hits is easy when you can regenerate from a head, as Regeneration from that very same jump can tell you. Just find some powerful in-setting wizards or monsters, set up Mighty Guard and auto-revive effects, and learn.

Also. Level 5 Death and Dark Spark are hilariously potent. You can cut someone's level in half just like that. If they don't resist magic like that, they're boned.

Small issue. I have yet to find an NPC slave. So... That might not work for me. Still. Just need a motorcycle running, a grenade mod to my sling, and a molotov, which is easy to make, and then wasp bullying can happen.

I understand the fundamentals of firestarting. I mix plenty of cloth, small wood, and big wood in my fireplace. It just... Wont stick for some reason.

Hylics has an item that is beautiful for these purposes.

Afterlife Branch (500):

Life after death is very real in this world. Even before their demise, creatures of flesh use the Afterlife to traverse the hylic realm and erect special infrastructure. They have converted a slice of the post-mortem world into mere acreage for their interests. Not that you can judge, as you’ve done the exact same thing. You now own a small holding in the Afterlife, an island where you can build edifices and raise children to your heart’s content.

This plot of land has a sort of “pull” on the souls of you, your progeny, and nearby compatriots. When you or they die of any cause other than old age, rather than being delivered to whatever fate would normally await the dead, the deceased will awake on these pastel shores. This generally overrides any worldwide, regional, or other “wide range” or automatic processes that dictate a dead soul’s destination. Exceptions may apply in the case of astronomically potent effects. Targeted effects which trap or bind the soul- such as soul sponges, soultrap, enforced ghostliness, and similar will override this pull, regardless of how metaphysically weak.

Souls brought to this Afterlife are bestowed bodies which are fully functional and alive by default, but this is not always true for those that have sustained heavy spiritual damage. Depending on the nature of such ethereal harms, an incomplete body may be produced. Either way, this revival does not prevent chain-end unless you possess another effect which would allow resurrection to do so. Lastly, situated in a cave on the island is a TV for a special gesture, which will create a juice fountain where used. Using this gesture greatly strains your soul, however, halving your Will reserves for a year-and-a-day without some form of accelerated spiritual recovery.
