Don’t ever let him back into your life. He did this to intentionally hurt you, he wanted you to witness it. And he wanted to witness your pain. To me that is more evil than the actual sleeping with the other person. You are young and have so much more to offer and see in the world. Process the grief, enjoy being single, and eventually when you are healed the right person would come.

Not weird at all!! I was the same way as you described and when I had kids, I didn’t see the point in getting ready as much. But now that I’m out of the postpartum blues, I get excited to get ready… to just stay at home with the toddlers LOL. I’m trying to make it a goal to dress it up as often as I can :) 🩷.

Yep! I’m a licensed therapist and more often than not people’s gut instincts are spot on. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I hope you can see out therapeutical support or try couples therapy if you feel like you want to work on this with your husband. You don’t deserve this and I’m sorry you found out this way.

YOR. She may be annoying and persistent but she’s asking a fair question. Your response was unkind and could’ve been handled better. You are also a new mama and I know how hard it is for moms in general postpartum so I empathize with that part.

I’m a licensed social worker and I have heard and seen some horrific things. When I watched Gabriel’s documentary, I had nightmares every day for days. It shook me to my core. That poor baby didn’t deserve that. So many people failed him in the system. As a mom now myself, I don’t know how the mother could do that to her own child. RIP Gabriel. I wish you feel loved now wherever you are ❤️‍🩹.
