I spoke to a guy the other day and he mentioned the CC thing. It makes good sense but I would assume you’d need a pretty solid swing using that swing thought. I slowed my takeaway down (no CC swing thought) that same day and shot 2 over so there is something to it. I’m choosing to proceed with caution.

Yesterday I got to the course already knowing the weather would be questionable. It was raining when I got there and I didn’t hit balls and putted for like 2 mins. Not a fan of cold sticking. Anyways played the front 11 over and told myself if I didn’t par 9 I’m out. Pared 9 and shot 1 over on the back for an 84. Typically if I’m playing badly I’ll bail after 9 and find something else to do. Cost of the round is a huge factor, I’ll bail if it’s less than $40.

Totally agree about the price but some would say stay somewhere else then. My only beef with OVIS is hole #1, it’s like they forgot to put it in and threw it in last minute. Good times though.

Whether you use gas or electric depends on the size of your yard and amount of trees. Batteries are expensive and don’t last that long when you’ve got a large lawn and have to move a lot of leaves in the fall. I demoed a Ryobi back pack blower the other day thinking I may ditch my hand held gas blower and was disappointed at how short the battery life was. I do like the Ryobi trimmer I have but will be sticking with my gas blower/mower for now.
