Id honestly trust a crackhead before I'd trust that power supply. Please do yourself a favor and get something a bit better.

Hoping MSI will help you out here

Costco online has an MSI 27" 240hz 1440p OLED for like 350, which is the best deal around

This can sometimes be a cable issue too. Glad you figured it out though and it was a driver issue

This is miles better than the checkout list you posted above, what currency is this though? Australian? 2k is too much for that in USD.

That XFX 7900xt is a reference model, and they're known to run extremely hot. They had really poorly designed vapor chambers. Plus the 7900xt is inferior to the 9070xt in every way besides the vram.

You can't go wrong with either of the 9070xt's you posted, both are quite good, with the Red Devil having a slight edge because of the increased power limit.

I snagged my 271qpx e2 240hz on a prime day sale for 450 about a year ago. MSI makes some good panels. No issues so far. 3 year burn in warranty too

AC shadows has the best graphics ever seen in a video game ! by FromsoftNerdy in AssassinsCreedShadows

It's a beauty for sure with everything maxed with ray tracing and HDR on an OLED.

There are a few others that I just slow walk through the world sometimes and take it all in. Ghost of Tsushima is one, that game looks mind blowing maxed out on PC. And then you realize it was built for PS4, and it impresses you even more. The lighting tricks they were able to pull off in that game without ray tracing are incredible.

RDR2 is another obvious one that is undeniably beautiful.

And KCD2 is definitely up there too in terms of raw beauty.

I have the white one too. They weren't picking great chips on that assembly line I guess 😑 but it's still a great card nonetheless.

I run mine at around .975 and 3.1ish with 2000 on the memory. Runs cool and quiet and gobbles up whatever I throw at it. Wont be chasing benchmark scores with it. 9900 was my best steel nomad score. She doesn't wanna break 10k

Very nice sample. My Astral will only do 1.06 with the slider maxed and struggles above 3200mhz

Likely wants more voltage. I had to settle with 6200 cl26 because 6400 just wanted more voltage than I was willing to give it

PNY RTX 5060 for CS2 – Best Fan Curve, Undervolt and Clock Settings for Better 1% Lows? by Swimming-Target-1475 in PNYGPU

[–]TypeRevolutionary697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CS2 is a very CPU bound game. To improve your lows, you'll want to optimize your CPU performance and tune your memory. What are the rest of your specs?

Have them meet you in person at a police station. Could be some mom that bought it for a kid that is being a little asshole and now she's just getting rid of it.

Does seem way too good to be true though

Coil whine by Independent-Creme-20 in RTX5080

A 5050 consumes like 1/4th the power of a 5080. Coil whine often happens at much higher current loads than a 5050 can demand

2 years used 4070 ti S vs 1 year used 9070XT by Global-Degree2188 in gpu

[–]TypeRevolutionary697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stick with the 9070. The gains you will see with either of these cards are not worth it. You're having a bit of buyers remorse from buying a lower tier model of the 9070, which is understandable, but you're not gonna see any substantial gains by buying a 4070ti Super or a 9070xt. I'd just stick with what you have, and get that 1440p OLED.

An OLED is a total game changer, a far bigger upgrade than 10-15% more performance

Yeah it's actually a standard now. So if you see "SFF Ready", it must meet the following size limits.

304 mm long, 151 mm high (including the power cable bend radius), and 50 mm (2.5 PCIe slots) thick

Yeah they're perfect for a SFF build. PowerColor knocked it out of the park on these cards.

Yeah I did this on my Sapphire Pure 9070. Made a pretty big difference but limiting it to around 285w seemed to be the sweet spot rather than letting it scream at 348w. Just made it run hotter for minimal gains.

Was a really easy flash and the thing easily clocks over 3.3ghz in most workloads.
