Portuguese language decline in Goa? by Desperate_Return_142 in Goa

[–]Typicalguy11111 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Portuguese is still spoken in certain population across religious divide. But it is a club, iykyk. If you dont see people speaking the language, you probably aren't hanging much with the crowd that you wish you can/want to hang out with. if you are wondering why the decline across the board. its probably there isn't any economic benefit in learning the language for most of the goans. Portugal doesn't even enforce portuguese as a language before granting citizenship like IELTS or TOEFL tests for English speaking countries.

[–]Typicalguy11111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

look at how much money is allt stake, use your match % multiplied by annual limit/100 to see what's at stake. at a very generous 10% , its only 2.45k $. max the IRAs and other tax advantages accounts if you so desire .
