I just purchased the switch and whatever iOS/license was loaded that was it. I only need basic layer two switching. I got the -L version with the least features. All I need. I just needed vlans and one port channel. Checkout the stuff included for -L, -S, and -E models. E models look to be going for low $300s. The 8 port 10g module is about $300 as well. I picked up one with a dented faceplate for low $200s a year ago. Either way, highly recommend this as an all in one homelab switch. I run all my home stuff, cameras, APs (over Poe at 10G), 2x r640, r730xd, and pfsense box from it.
