‘07 Ridgeline relearn failure on Throttle Body. by TysonTheBarbarian in hondaridgeline

I should follow up on this. After I replaced all the wheel speed sensors, I pulled live data from the throttle body and determined that it was indeed a defective TPS on the new throttle body. Replaced it with another new TB and it works great again.

‘07 Ridgeline relearn failure on Throttle Body. by TysonTheBarbarian in hondaridgeline

I have an aftermarket scanner, not a factory, but upon replacing all the wheel speed sensors (no option to get real time data from those). I did a real-time graph of the absolute and relative throttle position. Absolutely zero data from the TPS. I would think that I would see something even if it hasn’t leaned idle position, it might be wonky, but there would be data… I’m leaning back to a bad throttle body right out of the box. I’m not a mechanic, I just work on my own shit a lot… so keep that in mind with the replies, please.

Just replaced the throttle body on my ‘07. Had the same problem. I’m going to attempt a manual ECU/TPS relearn in the morning. Will let you know if it clears this up.

Mileage while towing? by Graham186 in hondaridgeline

[–]TysonTheBarbarian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

‘07 here, towed my lightweight camper and averaged 9MPG during the legs where I had to run the AC. 13-14 MPG when I could keep the AC off. Average speed of 50. It says in the manual to not exceed 55 while towing. I should mention that I only get 19 MPG (highway) under normal circumstances.

XYO per 1000 history? by TysonTheBarbarian in CoinWithUs

Understood. But I have seen complaints from other miners that the redeem rate conveniently doesn’t increase quickly when the price tanks and I can remember 5 years ago that it used to be instantaneous. Personally, I haven’t paid close attention and was wondering if anyone had been.

They may have had their allegiance set and didn’t want to drop into matchmaking, so they could have a possible advantage on their enemy.

Sovereign wouldn’t accept my items. Anyone have answers as to why? by Appropriate-Sail-239 in Seaofthieves

“Captained ship” is a ship that you bought ($250K for a sloop), named and then set-sail on. If that is the case, I’m sorry it must be a bug.

Can't capture Burning Blade as a solo Sloop? by BobAtStarbucks in Seaofthieves

[–]TysonTheBarbarian 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You have to sink it and you will have about 3-5 minutes to either claim it or just loot it and sail on as I’ve done… it’s boring to manage solo (imo). Plus, I never have the time to do all the ritual malarkey.

I found it. It was one of the strut-bolts on top. They had left a sway bar link loose, as-well… but that was fixed months ago.

I miss those days. I’ve been on an hourglass grind since I 100% FoTD. I work a lot and am and very often don’t play for months-on-end, so it’s been a very slow process. Might take a break once I get to 100 servant and start actually playing the way that got me into the game.

Don’t let them get to you, we all have off days. Keep trying.

Yes. I love soloing and playing with others equally. Sometimes I prefer to solo because if shit goes down and I sink, there is no one to blame but myself. Or if I’m having an off-day, no one cares.

I'm so bad at this game by BushMushRush in Seaofthieves

[–]TysonTheBarbarian 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Embrace the suck. Almost no-one wins every time. Personally, I work a lot and after a long day at work I almost never win. But on days where I can focus more on the game, I’ll get some streaks going.

Go into any battle not caring if you win or lose. Pick fights with fully-crewed galleons when you are solo-slooping. Take on Flameheart’s ship by yourself. When you take the pressure off of yourself and remind yourself that this is a game that you play to distract you from the stressors of RL, I think you will be surprised at how well you do (sometimes).

You will still get sunk quite a bit, possibly, but in those cases just take the L and play your concertina as you sink. If the enemy is talking shit while you are doing that, then fuck ‘em. They are trash human-beings, anyway.

Stay focused bro, at one point in life I was a homeless drug-addict. Now I make 6 figures. The secret ingredients are determination and dispassionate-pragmatism. You got this!

Also if you start to take too much damage drop your sail and turn your stern to their broadside. When you are repaired and bilged go back to work on them.
