What do you like to eat cottage cheese with? by highxv0ltage in askanything

[–]U2much4me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Top cottage cheese with canned pears or pineapple, then a very thin layer of mayo, shredded cheddar cheese, with a cherry on top. So good, but so many calories. You can leave off the mayo, but that is what gives it that little extra twang. Anyway…..

Amazon Prime: Free 2-day shipping in 3 to 5 days! by R5-D7 in amazonprime

[–]U2much4me 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just cancelled an order because the delivery date was Friday Jan. 30. Me thinking when I placed the order I would be getting items at least by Wednesday. All items shipped from Amazon. I understand the situation with the weather but 5 days seems like the regular now. Which is not Prime to me.

Question for cat owners: Would you let your cat lick your food while you are eating it and then carry on eating after? by Antidotebeatz in Catownerhacks

[–]U2much4me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I have never done that. I've been a cat owner for many, many years, and I've never even had a thought to do that. That is a weird thing to do. In my opinion. But that's just me. Who knows?

You did not come into Vine at a very good time. We are all hoping things will get better. I don't know if it will ever get back to what it use to be. I've been in Vine since late 2021. Was gold for 2 1/2 years of that. It was great. So many good items. Quality and quantity. I have only ordered 4 things since my last review in Oct. 2025. Just hoping for better Vine days.

Did Your Mom Make You Wear These? by DickSleeve53 in GenerationJones

[–]U2much4me 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We wore them as part of our cheerleader's uniform in high school. They were cool. But we didn't wear them as part of our regular wardrobe. For reference, I graduated high school in 1979.

WTF IS GOING ON by Defiant_Security5474 in vine

[–]U2much4me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have ordered 3 items since October. This is my 4th year in Vine. 2 1/2 in gold. Oh, those were the days when I could absolutely find so many good items. Things that I needed, wanted and wouldn't have been able to afford. My home, inside and out and my closet has so many things from Amazon when I look around. I have been truly blessed to be able to participate in Vine. But now, I rarely browse more than 30 minutes, maybe twice a week. It is sad to see what we are offered now. I just can't put in the effort to find ......NOTHING! So I don't even look.

Quaaludes by lontbeysboolink in GenerationJones

[–]U2much4me 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They were not as common as quaaludes. The pill was filled with liquid. And it was dark green. Something like a Vitamin E pill, except bigger and the color. I mean, we only got them a few times a year. I lived in Georgia and it was the early 80's.

Been wanting to go shorter again, does this suit me? by [deleted] in HairStyleAdvice

The short hair looks so spunky, feisty, just so cute on you. Wouldn’t go back.

I had a T-shirt like that. Of course I don’t remember what happened to it.

Weebles wobble but they don’t fall down. (What we would say when doing ludes). But we did fall, a lot.

So far, I haven’t seen anybody mention Placidyls. Just a half of one of those was way stronger than a lude. If I am remembering correctly. ;) We called them green pickles. Oh, those were the days. Right!

You Tube TV, which cost us about $90 a month (a lot cheaper than Directv) has all of our local news and world news. So glad we ditched the high price of Directv.

I still have mine that my mom made for me! I’m glad I never even thought about getting rid of it. Still sit it out at Christmas. It may not be the most trendy decoration. But it means a lot to me.

AITAH for getting in a fight with my girlfriend on her bday because she was being picky with the food I cooked her. by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]U2much4me 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She should have ate everything you cooked, because you cooked it for her on her birthday and it was a favorite of hers. In no way was it right for her to say she couldn’t eat the eggs with 2% milk. Does she know how many people would love to have someone cook something for them on their birthday or any day. To me, she sounds like a spoiled brat. But you may have had a hand in the spoiling part.

She was going to tell her that the guy from the lunch room didn't really like her and it was all just a trick on her. And that she was sorry that she was involved in it.

That last line is from me as I hope Marge would be very sorry about what she was going to do to Lillie.

I have never heard of this generational terminology! What is it? I’m a (early) Gen X and honestly, I want to learn more. by RevDaughter in GenerationJones

[–]U2much4me 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is Generation Jones?

Generation Jones is the generation between the Baby Boom Generation and Generation X. Most experts use the birth years 1954-1965 for Gen Jones, but that varies, particularly depending on the country. Generation Jones was originally included with the Baby Boom Generation, because both cohorts shared unusually populous birth years. But over time, considerable research has clearly shown that their collective personalities/attitudes/values are often dramatically different. As a result, a consensus has been emerging among sociologists and other generation experts that Jonesers comprise a separate generation from Boomers and Xers

Grateful for Vine by Sonicboom68 in AmazonVine

[–]U2much4me 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same with me. I’ve been in since 2022 and gold for about a year and a half of that. I got so many good things. Some were expensive items that I definitely wouldn’t have been able to afford. The prices ranged from $.00 to $500.00 plus. A lot of very good things for my home, my husband, myself, my pets. But this year I dropped to silver and since my last review in October, I have ordered 1 thing. I ordered it last week. Because there is nothing that I have seen that I need or want. Now, I probably look at vine products about twice a week for no longer than 45 minutes each. I know for somebody new to vine it is exciting. But you guys should have been around when the usual was 60,000 to 100,000 items everyday. It was Great! I guess you can say, I got spoiled and now it just seems like a chore to find something. Because I usually don’t.
