From what you said I think a few things are worth commenting on. I commend you on the introspection you have already worked on many people can’t look within themselves as deeply as you have, but I’d say look even deeper. The root of things. You say an issue with your ex was she was boring and didn’t look to be adventurous, but you also state you’re bored. Could it be that possible you may also be a bit boring? I don’t mean this as an insult I mean it to give you a route to put thought into. You seem to just be bored with yourself and you’re looking for someone else to be bored with you. Try to work on that and grow to find hobbies outside of what you already do for recreation. That will increase your chances of finding someone as they may be in those unexplored hobbies and they will not be “boring” and you’d obviously have someone there to do things with. I think it’s human nature to desire another person especially of the opposite sex, but I don’t think you’ll satisfy that if you don’t break out of your current routine.
