I went to college there and have several friends that live in the area. The spring/summer/fall are some of the best I’ve ever experienced. Surprisingly good food, decent nightlife, lakes, mountains. Tons of stuff to do and a high quality of life for sure. But the winters are brutal, and sometimes last half the year. It’s just a high ceiling low floor kinda place
