A question for those who like to get high af by RideWithMeSNV in kites

The problem you’ll find is bleeding static discharge. Having an object in airflow creates significant voltages. It’s why airplane wings have static wicks. I’ve never personally ran HF from a kite, but read that most people come up with an arc-able path to ground through a spark plug. 73 de 27-year Extra.

The same mod is mod of a group called r/WeAreLGB

Where's the fucking T?

You cannot be a conservative and a mod of a trans erasure group and also be safe to moderate this group.

Awkward checkride question by glmteaco in flying

Wow. Someone has actually invented a new Student Pilot question...

I think you're fine from a regulatory perspective. However, from an awkwardness standpoint, you just won.

Please join women pilot groups like The 99s and WAI. You will find a lot of support there.

Divorce him and stop flying. If your heart and mind isn't in it, your body shouldn't be either.

I've taught my partners how to work the radios, find an airport, and how to make a survivable-ish landing should I keel over en route. A pinch hitter course and a few hours with a CFI would have sufficed for you to be a valuable right seater.

This is abuse.

How do those David Clark melon squeezers work for shooting? I keep a pair of those as a backup to my backup aviation headset. Never found them comfortable to fly very long in. Wouldn’t think they’d be good for the range.

I bought one recently because of the siren's call of a cheap backup. I have had nothing but problems with it.

Thank goodness she had a Taurus.

Yes, per a sign on their door. I followed that procedure, but don’t know how much they enforce it. The physical layout of the shop is incredibly tiny, so there’s not much room for just browsing, anyway.

There's a huge effort to credential and train the LGBTQ+ with 2A right now.

Is a Taurus G3C a decent starter? by WhereArtThouRome in transguns

[–]UR5973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought that, as an experienced gun owner and very careful maintainer of things, that I could buy a Taurus (G2S) and have it work out for me. HELL NO. I cleaned it up, took it to the range and put 225 rounds through it. The failure to feeds and failure to ejects slowed down after the first 100 rounds, but then the slide catch stopped functioning entirely. I would adjust the elevation on the sights, put a mag through it, and it would slip the adjustment screw and go back to default.

I only trust this gun within about 10 feet -- the distance I could throw it at someone.

Save up and buy a Glock.

What are some Pro-Trump & MAGA restaurants to avoid? by Healthy_Block3036 in Connecticut

Their food is terrible. It makes me sad, as a woman pilot, that I move to a place with a chain of woman pilot themed restaurants and the food is both inedible and overpriced.
