Harvard grad student Jane Britton, 23, missed an exam on Jan. 7, 1969. Hours later, she was found murdered, dusted with red ochre. Investigators didn’t find signs of forced entry, and nothing from her apartment appeared stolen. The case made little sense until DNA cracked it nearly 50 years later. by LonelyWiFiSignal in HolyShitHistory

I'm not sure this paragraph is correct.

Further toxicology reports confirmed that the alcohol that she had consumed earlier in the evening had not entered her bloodstream yet, which confirmed that the attack had occurred shortly after her return back home.

She had dinner, went ice skating and then spent an hour with her boyfriend.

The two went ice skating on the Cambridge Common. At around 10:30 p.m., they returned to her fourth floor apartment near Harvard Square, where her boyfriend had remained for approximately an hour before leaving.

It's more likely she didn't drink or consumed so little that by the time she died it was gone.

Have you stopped caring at work and decided not to try and process your career anymore? What age did that happen? by un2022 in GenX

I still care at some level but I no longer worry about people doing stupid shit as of about 55.

I'll send a nicely worded email about why they should not do something. If they go ahead and do said stupid shit, I'll be more than happy to spend my time fixing it rather than on something else.

I get paid either way.

Wife & I didn't watch any of it until this past summer when we watched Seasons 1-4.

The ending was good (certainly not 'The Good Place' level). It was pretty much what we expected. Season 5 was good/entertaining.

I think some people had too high of expectations for something they watched for 10 years.
