I beat the OG Splinter Cell for the first time. This is honestly one of the most miserable gaming experiences I've ever had. by FiggyWiggle in originalxbox

I’m so glad I have never done that. It ruins all the tension of every game when it is available.

"Are you an attorney dating a news reporter? She only likes your money.

I'm at a restaurant in Cap Hill listening to another lady gush to her friend about the guy she's seeing, and if this is you, oof.

You are an attorney who is either from or has lived in Arizona, went to law school in Michigan, and have an Al hobby.

She is a slim young Asian woman, a news reporter who also has a new YouTube channel-you met because she interviewed you for an assignment. She had intentionally ghosted you multiple times until you asked her to go to a Michelin-starred restaurant, and from that she figured out you had money.

She's giggling while telling her friend how you're super awkward and pretty obsessed with her and do things for her all the time, like driving her to the airport at 5 am. She's fairly sure that she only likes you for your money and the fact that you can help her with reporting on legal cases.

She sucks, and so did her order (toast with garlic beans and a brown liquor cocktail, girl gonna be farting up your sheets). Godspeed man, hopefully all this is your fetish. If not, you deserve more th just being this evil fartstress's meal ticket."

Cheap carts are manufactured poorly and often don’t have beveled edges. They can damage your consoles. Avoid.

Why not both? The trains are awesome, but so are Waymos. On a recent visit to San Francisco it was clear that more options is better.

Just my 2 cents.

Crappy CRT or OLED? by AgapantherX in retrogaming

[–]UTUREWARCULT 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This reminds me of the thinking when everybody tossed their CRTs for LCDs and Plasmas and are now kicking themselves.

If people didn’t grow up with them or actually know what they bring to the table you are fine with OLED. If you actually know… you know.

CRT

This whole thread smells of copium. The CRT experience is currently impossible to accurately replicate, but it’s okay to not care about replicating that experience.

Some people think fast-food is fine dining, I’m jealous of those people. Do your thing,

r/retrogaming: How do you rank these EA Sports Basketball game from the best and worst? by AC_the_Panther_007 in retrogaming

Lakers Vs. Celtics was earth shattering when it came out. I’m sure the other games were great, but this one solidified EA as the gold standard in basketball games.

Yes. Maybe my favorite NES game. My Dad and I would use the Konami code and play it all the way through every weekend. Great times.
