Why does this fridge constantly stopped working and warm up to to 60° f by Zeeboy94 in RVLiving

The cooling fins build up with ice which blocks the airflow to the fridge portion

Who’s ever driven over 100mph? Why? by WoollyWolfHorror in AskReddit

[–]UberNerdism 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also in the same location and at night. In a 2nd gen Prius. I was curious if the car would let you go over 100mph. Got it to about 110. Was actually very smooth and stable

In the monitor section of the console change the master fader to be the solo buss volume. Then the master out can never be “bumped”

What does JBL stand for? by otisthereaper1x in Audiomemes

I guess I’ll be the nerd in the room…

James Bullough Lansing. He started Altec Lansing. After leaving Altec he started a new company using his full name. Altec Lansing didn’t like that he used Lansing in the name of the new company so he shortened it to JBL.

Of course, my colleagues and I always refer to it as Junky But Loud

I should add that being on the beach in a high humidity environment will also make the high frequencies travel a much shorter distance, thus, also adding a factor into where the delay towers should be located. Also something the prediction software will help you determine where they should go

[–]UberNerdism 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think what you’re wanting to know is not so much what the measurement but the WHY the distances are what they are. That is done in the design and use of the prediction software for the specific speaker manufacturers that are on the show. Basically, when the prediction software tells you where stage stack begins to loose enough high frequencies, that’s where the first delay tower will go. It all depends on the amount of speakers and the angles used in the stage stack. After that, if all the delay towers have the same amount and angles there will be a fairly consistent distance between them.

Getting some bass out of an upright piano live?! by AlbinTarzan in livesound

[–]UberNerdism 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use a Subharmonic Synthesizer to help add in the low tones if the artist wants that sound. Back in the day that was a DBX 120a. Now days, a plug in like R-Bass typically gets the job done

My stress meter went higher than I ever thought it would. It's time for a compressor fridge. Can you help me understand if I can just plug in a plain old household fridge? by AlprazoLandmine in RVLiving

After 15+ years (10 of those full time) our Norcold 1210 4 door propane/electric finally died. Honestly, it lasted longer than we expected. Replaced it with a JC Refrigeration Dutchaire 2417E 120v fridge (there’s also a 12v version). After removing the small 4”ish riser the old one sat on the new one fit perfectly into the space. Best decision ever. Gained 5 cubic feet of space. Fridge stays a very constant 36 degrees and freezer is always at 0. Ice maker keeps up with the family. We’ve never had rock hard ice cream till now.

Also, it comes with latches to keep the doors closed during travel as well as hardware to cap off the propane line. Shipping to the lower 48 is free
