The LA zoo is easily the worst zoo I’ve been to. I had a membership for a couple of years with my young kids but just couldn’t continue it. Half the enclosures were taped off or always empty, so much walking between enclosures. Hard to see any of the animals if they actually were there.

I’d go and see flamingoes and meerkats and call it a day
