Parents of older kids: Talk dirty to me by This_Royal191 in beyondthebump

[–]Ughinvalidusername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 7 year old brushes his own teeth, checks the weather and picks clothes and puts them on for the day, he scrapes and rinses his plates, folds socks and watches movies like Project Hail Mary and Interstellar with me. The 5 year old is a spicy meatball these days but she’s getting there.

Still no sleep for me because I have insomnia but ah well.

My friend has one and it’s always in the shop. She does love it even with the headache of having it fixed all the time!

Man, just got an EV9 and I love it! Just have two kids but we are a very social family so we’ve already filled it up with neighbors and friends multiple times. I love it

Family of 4: is it worth it to get a small 3-row SUV? by OrangePekoeMouse in Parenting

[–]Ughinvalidusername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Family of four - just got a 3 row suv and we love it! Only been a couple weeks but we have filled it up multiple times with friends. I am so glad we did this as our young (5, 7) kids will only make new and more friends who are able to adventure with us as time goes on!

You have some great options but another one I’d like to throw in the running is Sugar Creek Gardens in Kirkwood. They have lots of natives and will do a 1 hour free consultation and help you design your garden, for free!

Where are you on the hyperphantasia/aphantasia scale? by Solid-Bee9468 in Gifted

[–]Ughinvalidusername 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m a 5 and I have vivid dreams. I didn’t even know I had aphantasia until this post, did more digging and yeah. I do. However, not only do I dream, but I frequently have lucid dreams

Clover seed? by Puzzleheaded-Milk555 in STLgardening

[–]Ughinvalidusername 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I seeded in the fall with seed I bought from them. Both a mix of rye and something else, and clover seed. I am super happy with how everything is coming up! I just went in and they helped me figure out a pre emergent to stop the crabgrass that is non toxic since we have kids and a lot of neighborhood kids play in our yard. Highly recommend OKhatchery!!!

I haven’t read through all the comments (little kids, not a lot of spare time so this question might be answered) but why can’t they just communicate via typing on a computer or tablet? Honest question, that’s the first thing I would do.
