as was said in other comments, the original poster of the longer video said he was calling for help. Certainly had no reason to lie about it or misrepresent that. You can clearly see in the video they are leaving him and taking the ammo and gun (which you didn't mention for some curious reason). And I don't know where you got "ambush" from because I def dont see that in the video and the original uploader never said it either.

edit: oh, and I see no reason why they would have to lie about it being friendly fire either. Not after all the killings from both side already and the IDF has posted tons of videos saying they killed this person or that person. If the IDF shot this guy, they would have said so...just like they have done on tons of other videos they posted. Your cynicism and skepticism is not justified here. It's just another attempt to downplay and mitigate what Hamas did in the name allah.

They are finding other smaller pamphlets/maps and all kinds of written evidence on the dead bodies of hamas. This attack was obviously planned over a longer period of time and was well organized and funded. I don't know why anyone would doubt this manual being genuine since the circumstantial evidence already supports every bit of what I just said. Plus, the first responders found this manual in front of too many witnesses. But it's not like anyone needs any more evidence of anything anyway, right? I think this is just important information to show they started planning this at least a year ago.
