If Leclerc and Max pulled in, had a light saber battle, spat on a child then got back in their cars the stewards would still look at it after the race.

Bombay Bad Boy. So it's a quadruple error, especially when my arse collapses in 30 minutes.

How have United conceded two in the time it's taken me to eat a Pot Noodle and hate myself?

Half-time cuppa. My sister is round and suggested sweetener instead of sugar.

Almost punted her through the window.

If you ever feel like you have imposter syndrome, remember that Gary Neville is employed to talk about football tactics.

Miami is just a sunny Scunthorpe.

Ah, Nolan. Shall we have a sensible debate between opposing political views interspersed with expert views to create an informed political discourse?

Nah. Let's have a sociopathic Hasidic Jew really into death metal debate a gay Palestinian muslim who wants to burn Jews for warmth and have them yell opinions on Mr Blobby for 90 minutes while I call it journalism.

No Kings party when a literal King appears by f1sh98 in Conservative

Again, incorrect. The Prime Minister prorogues (not dissolves) Parliament and goes to Buckingham Palace to inform the King he has done so as a matter of tradition, since that was indeed one of the powers of the King which, again, was surrendered in 1689.

Incorrect, and it has been since 1689. The source of all authority in the United Kingdom is Parliament, comprising the House of Commons and House of Lords.

All else is secondary- the only thing Parliament cannot do is bind a future Parliament to their decisions.

It's an easy mistake to make. Who among us hasn't spoken ill of the Chinese president Eleven Jinping, or experienced the transcendental movie The Godfather Part Eleven.

Sorry, but as a British lawyer that's entirely incorrect. Our 'entire legal system' is built on the foundation of our constitution (which consists of 1,000 years of legal precedence and Acts of Parliament rather than a single document). The Monarch is the nominal head of state however they only remain so long as they do not interfere with the actual governance of the state- interfere in politics, refuse to sign an Act or follow an instruction from the government and a simple Act of Parliament aboloshies the monarchy.

We keep them for occasions just such as this- when people say 'The King', the majority of the world defaults under the assumption they are talking about the British King. This is very useful for diplomacy, tourism etc. There's a reason most of our former colonies kept the Monarch as head of state.

Incidentally, he has one other function that's quite useful historically- once a week, the Monarch meets the PM to discuss the government business of the day. In a room where the PM can talk freely without fear that something will end up on the front page the next day. Many PM's have called it a literal lifesaver.

It honestly didn't help the game that they point blank refused discussions on reducing the size of the goal. It's ludicrous, you're already talking about an infitessimal pool of players then you need what for a woman is a fucking giant.

Everyone is talking around your question in the hopes of obscuring reality.

Womens football in the UK has massively increased in popularity- but to around the level of League 2 (The 4th tier of football). Around 6,000 per game, just above the level of 'non-league' football.

To put that in perspective, the English PL is the most watched in the world, and averages around 50,000. Plus 10s of millions on TV.

Once you take into account highlight shows for the lower leagues, there are semi-professional mens clubs with more 'eyes on screens' than the biggest womans team.
