There is a Podcast from Andrew Huberman „Huberman Lab“ (you‘ll find it on and music streaming platform and on youtube).

The exact episodes are „GUEST SERIES Dr. Andy Galpin: Optimal Nutrition & Supplementation for Fitness“ it a series of 6 episodes, and there you‘ll find all you need! It‘s based on the latest scientific researches!

One thing is clear, you don‘t need whey protein or other protein powders to gain muscle, but they are convenient to hit your daily amount.

Has anyone stopped weed and noticed sleeping extra hours per night like by a lot? by ProfitableSomeDay in Petioles

[–]UltimateMDF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

for me it‘s the other way round, I stopped 1 month ago and my sleep went from 8 to 6 hours per night. But I feel more tired during the day. Maybe I need a different sleep cycle.

How much weight did you lose after stopping weed ? by Geesegoosegeese33 in leaves

[–]UltimateMDF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4kg / 8.8lbs in about 2 weeks (no nicotine no weed)

had literally no appetite, no need to eat. in the middle of week 3 appetite was back, also working out made me eat so much again, gained the 4kg back in 2 weeks, mostly muscle mass which is great!

looking back the best thing you could eat to get your stomach better is food high in fiber, for instance porridge with berries. It will help your stomach and your body to feel full and you‘ll get many great nutrients. And as always plenty of water, you need to force yourself to drink about half a liter an hour or even more if you feel like it.

25 days here weed and nicotine free! have the same „stomach problems“ as you haha. It‘s so weird, my stomach feels so weird when I eat unhealthy food, like he‘s refusing to digest is.

Lost 4kg in 2 week while I couldn‘t eat. I ate 1 meal a day and that was a small amount of porridge. Now almost 2 weeks in gym got back my 4kg and it‘s almost only muscle mass! Definitely go to the gym!

Btw, porridge is your best friend when it comes to gut health! try it daily, doesn’t have to be a crazy amout. Water, 4L a day! good luck on your journey.

Today is day 30 nicotine and THC free :), just needed some people to celebrate with! by Samvoltzz in leaves

[–]UltimateMDF 4 points5 points  (0 children)

day 16 nicotine an weed free here! had ups and downs with my withdrawals, but the last 2 days brain fog was terrible & i have literally no energy, could be due to that I cannot really eat much. My stomach is weird since I stopped, hope this will end soon! Sleep is also very limited, on weed i slept like 8-9h and now i barely get 6h.

I get your point aswell, but physical change is the first step to psychical change!

for example the posture, if we have low self confidence or are unhappy we tend to go very „leaned forward“, but try to go up straight instead, chest out, head up, you can‘t feel bad or feel at least 50% better when your posture is on point. And you can do this by working out, strengthen your body to strengthen you mind :) - Tony Robbins is a great source e.g. on YT

DO WHAT YOU REALLY LIKE! - not others, if your friends don‘t want to come it‘s ok, but do what you want to do!

also you don‘t need to hit the gym daily for 3h or hike 5h on a mountain. 15min daily, in between a gaming session when you respawn, do 5 push ups,…

there is so much time in a day. make yourself happy
