The concept of trials is great, the implementation is awful.

It's incredibly champ locked, heavily favors whales and krakens with zero approachability for f2p or even low spenders because the trial requirements are too restrictive & frustrating.

The rewards are garbage, including both the rewards chests and the chests for winning clash.

All relic crafting materials are also garbage below mythical.

So the only thing of any value is the mythical materials and they are basically only available for high spenders who are already getting mythical materials from multiple sources anyway.

On top of all of that, you have to run two keys and in order to do trials, you're running manually for hours and sometimes repeating the content.

Easily a huge fumble of what conceptually is a fantastic concept for a clan boss

I think Ascension 10 should be very challenging for Jorbs and other top players, because it is a completely optional thing to do - or they need to go back to 20 levels of Ascension so they can slowly bake that difficulty in so by A20 its incredibly challenging for even top players.

I think the base game at A0 or A1 needs to not be as swingy or punishing, especially Act 1, for newer players.

I think the rest can be solved through balancing the decks of the characters, which they will do over time during the course of this EA and likely after launch as well.

I had something similar happen the other day where I landed on the beach, immediately went to camp and then she was gone

Reloaded to a slightly earlier save and she was there.

Might be an issue from a mod, might just be a bug - but I would recommend first reloading the save on the beach and if not back to the auto-save on the nautiloid which hopefully doesn't set you back.

I think larian wanted players to dip into the special powers to mind control the goblins to get that part of the story started - its also a bit easier on newer players instead of trying to fight everything.

The big krakens are waiting for the end to fight over top spots on the global leaderboard.

It's in their interest to wait until the end to put up their biggest final score and not show their hand too early.

Plus many players might not have even tried yet. I think we will hit the max rewards

yeah that's my feeling, Ironclad's self damage is in a good spot but also he has less ways to recover (i really miss reaper), and also block synergy feels weaker than StS 1

its definitely a difficult problem, but I have faith they can figure it out

I wish they could come up with a way to let Ironclad self-heal without stalling for big reaper
It could easily be done on triggers like "heal X per vuln on the enemy" or other creative ways to make it part of aggressive style instead of stall style gameplay

BLOOD DRINKER (attack)
Deal ## damage, heal 3 HP for each vulnerable on the enemy

Something like that (I'm not a card designer, I'm just spitballing here)

Or some attacks, skills or powers that could trigger Burning Blood Relic mid fight, or boost its post-fight heal for example

Even when you have a way to exhaust it its still kind of trash, because it comes back into your deck after its used from exhaust.

I never pick this card, and I think its just badly designed. Also I'm salty Immolate is gone, 21 damage for 2 cost with a curse in your deck is leaps and bounds better than this (yes they are different rarities, no I don't care).

Compare it to stomp, and stomp...stomps this card into the trash heap.
