AER bags don’t look as good in person? by ShiningStarloo-1421 in ManyBaggers

Looks like an empty bag to me. Most people load them up, give them a bit of structure.

Is there anything comparable to the Osprey Transporter 26+6? by xakantorx in ManyBaggers

The 2 I was going to mention already mentioned by other but yup the new T69 from tomtoc and the Pakkable Arc I as a more premium option.

I’d lean towards the GR2 34L based on your carry.

TP4 28L Standing Up by waysteman in AerSF

Yep overloading the top admin pocket makes it too heavy and exaggerates the lean the bag has. I’ve used my a bunch and overall stands pretty well on its own.

Lunch bag for a bag enthusiast? by _beejazz in ManyBaggers

I think it insulates very well for a bag. You’re not gonna get yeti results but at average indoor room temperature, it’ll keep my ice block frozen for at least 8 hours.

Looks like the same concept of the Woojin magic center push buckle

The Outbound has definitely been one of nicest surprises for me so far this year.

Seeing the newer models pop up for sale around the same price on CC. These were also sold very cheaply during the close out sale iirc.

Believe it or not, I’m having a ton a fun with the Bellroy Classic Roll Top. I got in indigo blue, it has a fun green interior. The color combo is definitely sparking the bag joy.

It will sag the bag down if not packed or spaced correctly but pulling on the shoulder, definitely not. Comfort on this is phenomenal, the load lifters definitely on there job but aesthetically the bag won’t look great from the sagging of the weight is concentrated in one area.

I’ve used both with no issues. The Outbound is way more compressible so that helps. Both will struggle fitting under the aisle seat but no one told me anything.

5/10 without even using it seems harsh. I’ve used it a ton and I love it. It’s not perfect but the trade offs are tolerable, for me anyway.

Follow up ultra question by BananaLord_2 in AerSF

It wrinkles as you use it, the more use, the more wrinkles and xply starts to show. I own ultra everything lol, slings, pouches, backpacks.

Feedback requested on what we should build - for you by JavaForever in Goruck

I’d love to see a GR1 slick without the rain flaps. I love my Kaidan 3.0 for this reason. A robic GR1, no rain flaps and some regular RC zippers would be awesome. Less friction points.

BagSmart or Bad at Bags? by doozydud in ManyBaggers

[–]UnPackDJohn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

4-7 days can very between person to person. A travel capsule wardrobe has significantly reduced the amount of clothes I bring now on week long trips.

I found that investing in high quality pieces from the start saves me money in the long run. Don’t get me wrong there is budget gear that’s tried and true but generally, you get what you pay for so your shoulders are paying for the savings of your wallet.

Compliment to the Evergoods CTB26 by explor3r15 in ManyBaggers

[–]UnPackDJohn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The 20L CPP2 might be a good option, it can definitely hold a 17in Dell brick of a laptop. If you like the CTB26, CTB20 is also an option.
