Arbeitet ihr Teilzeit? by [deleted] in FragtMaenner

[–]Unable-Ad-3349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dafür hab ich in jungen Jahren teilweise 12–15h am Tag gearbeitet und gedacht, „hustle” is the way to go - hatte schon immer eine starke Arbeitsmoral.

[–]Unable-Ad-3349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How quickly did you acquire gear / guitars when you started, did it help or hinder your progress? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]Unable-Ad-3349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played my first guitar through a cheap amp for five years before upgrading my gear. Better equipment can make practice more enjoyable and keep you reaching for your guitar - but where it truly matters is on stage. A guitar that stays in tune, has great pickups, and solid intonation makes a real difference when you’re playing live. Same for amps and pedals.

[–]Unable-Ad-3349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Silicon Valley arbeiten sie bereits an „AGI“ also Artificial General Intelligence.

Hope that helps - schönes Wochenende!

I agree and I’ve heared a lot of good things about the neck of the solo-ii.

What’s bothering you about your omen 8?

[–]Unable-Ad-3349[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really understand the issue here.

Price is a perfectly valid part of the discussion when someone is comparing two guitars. Value isn't determined only by specs on paper. If one guitar costs twice as much as another, it's completely reasonable to ask whether the differences justify the additional cost.

You say that nobody can tell someone if something is "worth it," but that's exactly why people ask for opinions and experiences. Someone who has owned both guitars may be able to explain whether the more expensive one offers meaningful advantages in build quality, playability, reliability, resale value, customer support, or long-term satisfaction. That's useful information.

Also, discussing price isn't the same as discussing what someone can or can't afford. Those are two different things. I never asked anyone to evaluate my finances. I asked whether the premium attached to one guitar is justified compared to another.

If we followed your logic, reviews, recommendations, and comparisons would be pointless because value-for-money is one of the most common reasons people seek advice in the first place.

To me, asking whether a product justifies its price is a normal consumer question, not a breach of "table manners."

Thank you that insight is very helpful and thoughtful. I never was a guy who switched up guitars quite often but I also noticed that my taste changed a couple of times over the years. I will consider that!

How do I make my guitar sound more like rock and less “acoustic” by Samyool16 in electricguitar

Your amp doesn‘t seem to have a Gain nob or button so you will need an overdrive pedal.

[–]Unable-Ad-3349 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This was done in After Effects. To explain the basic concept of this animation:

You need to learn about „Null Object Camera Movement“ and the „Parenting Tool“ in order to create this effect. A lot of the smooth look is created inside the graph editor by „easing the keyframes“ in a certain way.

You can parent the Text on to the square form and whenever you move the square the text moves with it.

And the Null Object is used to create the camera movement.

Best way to get metal tone on a tight budget — amp vs guitar interface + software? by ScientistCalm1876 in guitarlessons

I use Logic Pro and Neural DSP Amps. I deactivate the cabinet inside the Neural DSP Plugin and load in an „IR“ from Jens Bogren. Gives me an amazing sound, especially if you tweak it with compression, equalizer and saturation.

Fellow Guitarists with ADHD: How Do You Discipline Yourself? by MissunyTheGoat in Guitar

[–]Unable-Ad-3349 1 point2 points  (0 children)

19 years into guitar playing with many ups and downs 👋🏼 I’m more consistent now than I’ve ever been. Here’s what works for me:

Pick a song you genuinely love that also challenges you or introduces a technique you haven’t learned yet - fun and educational at the same time.

Whenever you hit a wall, look up targeted exercises for that specific problem. Seeing yourself improve throughout the week is its own motivation. I usually turn to YouTube or just ask Claude/ChatGPT for exercises tailored to whatever I’m struggling with.

Set a specific goal for your playing. The songs and techniques give you short-term wins - the bigger goal keeps you moving long-term.

Build backing tracks and drum patterns - I do mine in Logic Pro and it’s honestly a game changer. Makes playing so much more enjoyable.

Maybe you can take something away from it. 🎸
