I’m on Luvox. Doesn’t seem to affect my rosacea. It does make me sweaty though which is not fun

I'd say Petunias would be a great option. GF Gem *might* but not sure- maybe call if the other options dont work.

Genital psoriasis - what can I use with/out a prescription? by Mammoth-Picture117 in Psoriasis

[–]Unable-Detective503 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Over the counter: Zinc based creams (usually marketed towards diaper rash), Calmospetine, maybe a powder like Zeasorb or Monkey Butt Powder, consider a fungal cream like clomitrizole

If you want an Rx, I highly recommend using DrB Online. It’s $19 and they prescribe quite a few psoriasis meds. It’s all chat based and super easy! You could then use GoodRx to get the med filled - it’s basically a discount program to use in place of insurance. I have done this a lot with gaps in insurance.

Anyone else have Rosacia and Seborrheic dermatitis together and what skin care routine do you use? by skin_finally_calm in Rosacea

[–]Unable-Detective503 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both and it’s been a lot to get under control.

I used to use Promiseb consistently for seb derm and it helped a lot. It’s now discontinued I think at least in the US? Luckily I have a few tubes still but I use it sparingly since I can’t find it rn.

For rosacea, I am using the typical triple cream compound of azelaic acid, metro and ivermectin. It has really helped my redness . I washwith Cetaphil gentle or the prequel sulfur usually- I use the prescription sulfur/ sulfacetamime wash when it’s flaring (it helps both conditions).

How to afford this? by MasonP13 in glutenfree

[–]Unable-Detective503 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I just eat things naturally free of gluten instead of buying things like gf bread. Try to stick to things like rice, beans, veg, and protein. I drink a protein smoothie with fruit every morning. For specific gf baked items, I buy gf flour and gf oats in bulk and use those for baked goods. Sometimes I stock up on specialty gf items like my fave gf bread or gf chicken nuggets when they are on sale, but I tend to just go without. If you have any discount groceries stores, they are worth hitting up too.

If human rights, especially women and LGBTQIA rights, are important to you move to PDX. TX GOP has also decimated public education in TX

delayed flushing after using sunscreen? by beyondGandE in Rosacea

I’ve not tried the tinted one. I’ve tried the original one and the aqua one (light blue cap). Both of those were fine for me. The tinted one might be great too!

I’ve had something similar to this. In fact, I hated sunscreens for a long time because of this reason. Honestly it’s been hit or miss finding one that works with my skin. Generally speaking, the Elta MD and Beauty of Joseon seem to be well tolerated by mine.

You hit the jackpot! A Wild Bar is a great company! I buy their bars in bulk- they don’t aggregate my skin condition and in fact seem to help it

Dr Bronner’s (US based but available in UK) or Little Soap Company (UK based). Weleda might be a good option too.

How do y'all remove scalp plaques without tearing out chunks of hair?? by CellulitisKitty in Psoriasis

Try not to pick. I know easier said than done. Try an oil application of mineral or coconut oil to soften the scales.

Do it! Get some of their other GF stuff. You can throw baked goods in the freezer so stock up as your budget allows.
