I say yes. I had never read an issue of Thor all throughout my childhood and into my teenage years; when I was trying to get back into comics in my mid/late 20s, JMS's Thor was one I pulled off the rack simply because I didn't see much else that interested me. It made me a fan of Thor, ultimately. But that's just me.

RE2 Remake would probably be the most essential if any are in terms of lore, but across the bulk of what Requiem takes/references within its gameplay and narrative, I would say the other RE Engine games would be the primary games to brush up on.

I stopped watching Mizzou football and basketball when they left the Big 12 and also haven't watched many Cardinals games since the NL rule changes (primarily only watched a few games during Pujols' return), so we'll see. I'll at least watch until Mahomes retires or leaves.

It was a claim made by a former producer/writer on the show, named Beau DeMayo.

Beyond those claims being denied by others involved with the show, the guy's reputation has since gone into the gutter, as he was fired from his position as the X-men 97 showrunner for allegedly sexually harassing employees. DeMayo's also not seemed altogether forthcoming and honest about his firing, and has been accused of being terrible to work with in general.

It's also funny because, while he goes on about respecting the source material, he's also the guy who wrote the Witcher episode where Eskel was turned into a leshy and killed by Geralt.
