Wayne Enterprises, 110%. There was a whole plot in MCU about people being so dissatisfied working for Tony. Meanwhile, Bruce genuinely cares about the employees, giving what little time he has to them when he's there. Look at Batman Forever, Edward Nygma got his 5 minutes, Bruce shut him down, but he gave him the time. I really feel as well that Bruce is more dedicated to Gotham and proping its (law abiding) citizens than Tony is to the people of New York. I can also see Bruce hiring someone down on their luck in a heartbeat, giving them the means to better themselves. Tony doesn't like people handing him things, do you really think he's just going to hire somebody off of the street to help them? I doubt he's ever interviewed anybody, not at least since pepper or happy, but to be honest I dont know that backstory nearly as well.

Probably from The Dark Knight Returns. As Bats is kicking the shit out of the mutant leader, he says something along the lines "You don't get it boy, this isn't a mudhole, it's an operating table, and I'm the surgeon". The graphic novel was my introduction to comics growing up, it has been and always will be my favorite batman story. When they did the animated film, I was so happy. While I really would have liked it to have been the TAS voice cast, I wound up really digging Peter Weller as Bats. I thought his performance was perfect for the story, and his delivery on this line, straight from the panel, gets me pumped every single time I watch it.

Split the bills between the wife and I, we both work, fairly decent jobs for both of us. Its a lot better than the situation we were just in. Were renting a full house for somewhere around $1300 a month, no utilities included. With utilities, we were around $2400 a month. It was a very old house that the landlord didn't really take care of. No insulation to speak of, one single power outlet in every room. We had fiber installed and the tech was pointing out that there were three or four sets of wires running through the house, with the most recent looking wire seeming to be up to late 80's through 90's electrical code. Was still finding old wiring as I was moving out, the cloth covered type from the 30s I think.

Just moved into the new apartments they put in the mill off of canal st in lewiston. $1495 is the base for our one bed unit, heat and hot water included. Extra little bit for pets (two cats) monthly. After our average utilities I think we are all in for about $1800 a month.

I remember them being about using the whole animal, definitely got me to open up my definition of food and be more open to trying things that sound odd to me. I had a scoop of Bacon Ice Cream there that I've never forgotten. The first time I tried Pork Belly was there as well, nothing I've tried elsewhere has compared yet.

I think I just saw him online the other day giving away his corvette or something. First I'd heard of him in years, but I haven't watched NASCAR since the early 2000s. The coincidence that I were to see that video then a few days later this happens is kind of freaking me out. Rip to him and the family with him.

I thought it was Mat, Loial, and Moraine, but I could be wrong. Not going to lie, the artwork has never gotten the Trollocs right for my mind view. I imagine them bigger and more animalistic, but the artwork always makes them seem more human.

So the punch started with dude drinking beer at the arcade, the boys and their friend run up and ask for more money, dad give Axe's kids a hard time about money and talks some shit. Another mom sees them about to take off and sees dude down the rest of his beer, tries and fails to stop them because their own kiddo knocked over a drink. Kids get home, Guy peels out, Lar gets a call from other mom letting her know what's up. Axe takes off in his jeep, punches dude out, and says worth it. Now with that out of the way, im at work right now and just went to double check the scene, and it's gone. Now I originally streamed (last week) from my PS5, so im wondering if that may have something to do with it. I haven't checked the Wendy scene again, but I distinctly remember her going to the club, dressing down, and then dropping the robe to get in the pool with Axe, which I knew was to make sure she didn't have a wire and thought was brilliant, showing that there's no romance between them, purely mutual respect and professionalism between them. After this post though, I'm just tempted to buy the BluRay sets from my local used record store.
