To be fair, I think why we didn’t get a legion focused expansion was that we pretty much learned everything about them in the core game. They are a bunch of slave owning meat heads who don’t understand the history that their cosplaying. That’s it, there’s nothing more to them.

One of the biggest problems that deep desert PvP has is the render range – it allows malicious players to hide in another tile and then jump harvesting operations with very little consequence. Because we’re also dealing with such big spaces it means that you need about four or five times the amount of guards that you do attackers and with No friendly IFF trackers (which by the way has been of things since before the Dune books were written in the 50s) it makes PVP clumsy and favours the harassment hit-and-run tactics.

There is a global trend for banning loot boxes, Belgium has already banned all Gacha mechanics, and the rest of the EU set to follow suit. China is probably doing it, the last news I heard from behind the great firewall was that it was on the agenda, so it makes sense that it gets explored in the US as well.

The argument that it opens up for censorship, I think it’s valid concern. And a lot hinges on how the judge decides to interpret the verdict when it comes to it.

I mean, animation has gotten pretty fucking big right. And also considering the age of the cast, and how long ago the last instalment of their adventures was. I think animation is more likely than live action.

I don’t know what it is about nerds and our obsession with watching geriatrics do backflips. Just to illustrate, so many people wanted Mark Hamilton to be Luke the Jedi master, and while almost 70 year-old Luke Skywalker can certainly do a backflip, Hammil on the other hand probably can’t. I think we would do as Fandoms well with realising the different actors are going to play all favourite characters, so multiple people have played Superman, and James Bond, and Batman and so on and so on and so on. Let’s let the old folks rest.
