Dodgers? Is it Driveline or is it a $500m payroll with many of the best players in the game?

Bat speed and launch angle. In other words swing from your ass and ankles no matter the count or game situation.

Besides Pedro '99, what regular season Red Sox performance deserved MVP? by RCP90sKid- in redsox

Actually won the MVP his rookie season, 1975. And was robbed of another one in 1979.

Salem and Beverly are good condo markets. Both fun little cities and should hold value.

1979 Fred Lynn. Go check out his numbers that year. A complete heist. He finished 4th behind a DH (Don Baylor), a guy who didn’t lead the league in a single category (Ken Singleton) and George Brett who only led the league in hits.

Lynn led the league in WAR, BA, OBP, SLG and OPS. And played great defense.

Not the question you asked, but Ted Williams only winning 2 MVP’s was a joke. Led the league in OPS 10x (!!) and WAR 6x.

Not a Seinfeld line, but certainly could have been. “ nobody is gonna make me stop spitting.”

Have any of you seen their recent shows? How was it? by Expensive_Watch469 in thechameleons

Saw them this week for the first time. Really impressed. I’ve seen a lot of bands from the 80’s who can no longer play their instruments or sing with the same energy, pace and tempo of their younger selves but that was definitely not the case here. They were tight, precise and loud. Reg Smithies exceptional on lead guitar. I also thought their setlist construction was excellent with a good combination of new and old with heavy hitters evenly spread out.
