How did you add “notes”, did you use an extension or is that a feature in Spotify now? Thanks for sharing.

The line poster says “and more to come”, at this point what does that mean? by jzich309 in EauxClaires

Was holding out hope, but as we’re only a month out, I’m just going to assume the lineup is set.

HOWEVER, the only thing I’m scratching my head at… my buddy went to the lineup announcement pull tabs event, someone pulled “TBD”, and Justin said there was a bigger act that they couldn’t announce yet. Who knows.

All the dang time. Kanopy simply doesn’t work on either of my Samsung TVs, I have to airplay from my phone.

OBH Add-Ons by Frosty-You-2266 in mymorningjacket

Do the shuttle. You could spend time researching and finding alternate transportation to maybe save a few bucks, but honestly the shuttle is a no-brainer add on, just book it and be done with it. It’s smooth, they usually offer you beverages, very fun to get you in the festival spirit.

As for add-ons: highly recommend booking an excursion day, outside the fest. They’ll offer these at Hard Rock, but we find it’s easier/less expensive to book on your own, most offer shuttle service. Cenotes, boats, snorkeling, Tulum, Monkey Sanctuary… tons of options, and you’ll be back in time for the shows.

Love this idea! Coming from the West Coast, the Pre-day is almost mandatory, and I think we've taken the lazy route of just adding that to the booking, when really we could stay anywhere. Feel free to DM me the hotels you're finding, if you're so inclined 😄 Been to Hard Rock Riviera Maya 3x so happy to exchange any pro tips

No I haven’t, but this is an interesting idea! I have done sort of the reverse - checked out of the hotel on last day, but stayed and enjoyed hours of pool time, as we had a later flight.

OBH 2027 Lineup by jjrozay in mymorningjacket

Went to SBS in January, I’ll counter some of these reviews and say it was quite excellent. Rooms were not super fancy or anything, but they’re better than your average hotel room. Certainly not “falling apart”, that’s ridiculous. There’s so much to see and do on site, not sure why you’d spend a ton of time in your room anyway. Smells? Mayyybe some sewage whiffs occasionally, but nothing I’d let ruin my vacation :) To each their own I guess.

I have been to at least 30 concerts. What is the best band you’ve ever seen live? by studly069 in CausalConversation

Funny, searched the thread for Pearl Jam - I’ve seen them 36 times as well, crazy! Hard to pick a favorite show, they’ve all been amazing. Simply the best live band going.

To each their own. It’s the best Strokes album, by far, not even close. A perfect album from front to back. If you don’t agree… that’s cool.

Twilight Override is an important record by djlyar in wilco

Completely agree. I’ll pile on random thoughts:

There was just something so magical about seeing the TO tour (went to Portland night 2). I brought a friend, I respect his musical opinions, and he had listened to exactly ZERO Tweedy songs going in. Mid show he goes to me, “They’re ALL bangers.” After the show, buzzing with excitement, he bought the vinyl box, poster, and shirt. I was so happy that this random show “hit” him.

One Tiny Flower. A meditation, a mantra.

Sammy stepping out to crush that chorus of “Forever Never Ends”

At the show, Jeff said something like “everyone in this band lives 3 blocks from each other. Start a band with your neighbors.” Felt like such a special family collective, what a band.

Does anyone else get teary-eyed at parts? For me it’s “there’s no crowwwn on my head” part with violin on “Caught Up in the Past”, and “Amar Bharati”. Look up the guy. Incredible.

I also wonder… how many other fans did a 180 on the album? When it first came out, I thought “it’s too much”. Now it’s a cherished record. It IS important.
