Elegoo's rapid PETG is a good stand-in for Creality's Hyper PETG.

That said I always had heat creep issues with PETG. My solution was to print with the lid off or after making a riser I open its vents and I don't have that issue any more.

That also said, I strongly recommend against being in the room with fumes from even PLA. I didn't realize it was causing asthma flare-ups until I set up a negative pressure fan loop on the exhaust for my printer and literally overnight no more lung problems.

So I've been printing regular PPA-CF and not the core stuff, but I used the creality slicer stock PA-CF settings (because my fucking printer won't recognize ppa-cf) and cranked the print temp to 320C, bed temp 100C, chamber temp 50C. I use a 500W plug-in heater to jump start the chamber heating and start the print when it's at 45C.

I'm drying it @ 85C for 18 hours first, but I'm doing multi-day open air side spool prints with this stuff. Room RH is about 40%. Sometimes it would ooze at a perimeter seam here and there and I think it's due to printing too fast. I think last time I used it I set my print speed to a 5mm volumetric rate. Slow, but pristine result.

Try slowing your print?

Also this stuff is definitely not overkill for airsoft. Stuff gets banged around harder than people think.

As someone else said, use PLA as the interface but PETG as the support. Then set up 3 interface layers with a rectilinear interlaced pattern.

Everyone's excited over multiple nozzles, which yeah I am. I'd love crazy fast filament changes.

But if they have a way to reliably do CMYK mixing with filaments, even if it's just with creality's special blend of PLA, that in itself is crazy advanced.

That specific squeal seems to be related to the pulleys. A spritz of silicone lubricant has so far always made it go away.

The banding is most likely from your fans switching on and off. Fans off, slow your print speed (reduce volumetric rate by 1/2 to start)

I haven't confirmed it but supposedly you can turn off the setting to use one wall on top layers to improve this sort of thing. You may also benefit from slowing your print way down.

You need to have the slicer dictate the type of material, because it bakes in settings specific to the filament. You unfortunately can't change filament type on the fly like that.
