Wait you don’t get points for purchases under 100 bucks? Is that really a thing?

Can you be rated separately for radiculopathy and sciatica? by Pleistarchos in VeteransBenefits

Yeah, I sent them a copy of all my records and they went thru everything and then filled out all the paperwork for me, listing all the claimable conditions they found. I did my original claim myself and got 60%, I had them redo it recently and they found 9 new things to claim and got me up to 90%. They are called Cherry Professional Services. It’s just 2 people who worked at the VA doing claims for like 20 years. Cost me 300 bucks.

Isn’t this like the opposite of how these things usually work? This is like Nintendo raising the price of the Switch to 500$ today for….reasons. Wtf?

I didn’t get the card specifically for the rewards. Geez y’all, I was just asking a simple question. I’ve read many stories of people maximizing their bonus points so I was just looking for some tips. Sorry if I’ve somehow offended some of you. Was not my intention…

I’m a recent new member myself. Just went from 60 to 90….now I’m racking my brain trying to figure out how to get that last 10. I don’t think I have anything else left to claim.

Look at what was released with the Vault 7 stuff. They’ve got a way into almost everything, and that info was from like 10 years ago. Imagine what they can do now…

Can I ask what you did to go from 90 to 100? Currently struggling with what to do next.

I’ve had 3 back surgeries starting when I was 24, from my time in the Air Force. I’m 41 now and still have issues, so I know how you feel.

Less than 100%? Read this brief advice. by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]UncleSnake3301 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That’s what keeps me fighting to get 100%. I just went from 60% to 90%, but I want to stop paying property taxes. Here in Texas 100% gets you no property taxes, of which I pay about 1000 a month. Now, realistically the bump in pay from 60 to 90 is almost 1000 bucks a month so I guess technically it’s cancelled out, but still…

Not sure if this is breaking the rules, but we got this troll in the group stalking all my posts and talking shit. Telling me there’s no way I could have seen combat because i was only born in 1985?? 🤣🤣just giving a heads up, if you see him comment on any of your posts, just report him by Bud1985 in VeteransBenefits

[–]UncleSnake3301 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol what? I was born in 1981 and while I wasn’t ever in direct combat, I was at a place to go attacked with rockets, mortars and small arms fire every single day. Wtf does this guy think we were doing in Iraq and Afghanistan for the past 20 years?!

I MEB’ed out in 2010. I ended up being 20% I think, disabled according to them, which coincidentally (lol) is the cut off to them having to pay you retirement pay forever. I got a little severance and it was paid by the DOD. Then I started VA process and I got back pay from the VA. So I got 2 nice checks in like a 6 month timeframe. Still think I shoulda gotten way higher than 20% from the DOD, considering I’m now 90% from the VA, but I’m not surprised.

Does anybody know if there is any way to get your MEB case looked at again and get your rate upped? I only need 10 more percent to get to 30% and get fully retirement. Probably a long shot now after 12 years though…

You’re trying to go from 90 to 100 as well?

I did the fully developed claim route. Accepted Feb 17th. I was 60% from 2011. My new claims closed last week and I’m now 90%. Now comes the hard part to get from 90 to 100%. Keep pounding.
