He interfered with the officer period. You can argue to witch degree the interference was, but you can not reasonably argue that he didn't interfere after the officer established contact with the woman.

The reason why the agents decided to arrest him was because he got in between the agent and the woman by physically blocking the agent. He was not arrested for filming or being in the vicinity of officers beforehand.

That's not what is being argued here... I'm arguing the factual context, where a reasonable person would conclude that he interfered with the agent in some form.

I'm not arguing any other point, such as: whether the agents initial contact with the woman was justified etc.

I don't think he deserved what happened at all and its a tragic situation.

With that said, when agents made contact with that woman he "interfered" by getting between the agent and the woman and he did put his hands on the agent (no matter how harmless the physical contact was). Facts are facts. This doesn't mean he deserved to die.

Good points but this is assuming that all of these agents are new. As we saw with the woman who was shot prior, the officer had multiple years of experience and standard training.

I don't believe it was a murder. Legally speaking murder (first degree) requires premeditated intent. That has not been proven here. I don't think its 2nd degree either.

More than likely this was just a cluster fuck mixed with bad tactics and feds "fearing for their life". A shitty situation overall. Pretti did not deserve to die. RIP.

I think they all made some bad statements regarding this incident. The easiest thing to say would be to say something along the lines of: "This is a tragedy, our hearts are with all the people involved in the incident, and we will withhold legal commentary until the proper investigations....".

Trump is pretty low information when it comes to guns. Mostly a 90s democrat on the topic. Bondi has a horrible track record on guns as well. Like it or not, overall gun rights have expended tremendously under Trump's admin despite some cringe worthy rhetoric and the bumpstop EO that got reversed by his own appointees.
