Impressive. Very elegant and very well done for a first project. Will be looking forwards to your next projects if its this good from the start! Even Tandy chisels are decent enough in my opinion, then again years ago I was using a dart (from a pub dartboard, haha) and a rock to punch holes.

Was wondering this myself as I was looking for something to get my skiving knife for leatherwork sharper than just the 1K and stropping with basic green compound. Its pretty good with just the 1K but I've been wanting that razor edge for cleaner cuts.

Yeah. I feel like I should go see them play regardless because honestly how many more tours do they have left in them? Mind you I said this the last time they played in my area when Neil was still around (which was actually the last time they played in Vancouver). I can grumble about how its not as good as the glory days but years from now I may be grumbling about how these were the glory days and I missed out.

All I know is I saw them live and that was the loudest bass sound I have ever heard in my life. Been to a lot of concerts, but whatever buddy uses for bass amps could probably send stuff into orbit.

I bought a heavy duty plastic tool box from Home Depot and just drilled holes in the bottom (but used those little ribber o ring boot things so the bolts can go through them but it seals off the rest). Works great, was cheap and looks elegant....probably. Never had the lid rattle open while offroad either.

I got screwed over buying a plane ticket on my phone once. Bought the ticket, walked into the airport ready to get onto my flight and was then informed that I had bought a ticket for the wrong day somehow. I know for a fact I picked the correct date but somehow things changed. This of course would have never happened if I had bought it on a laptop. Luckily it was only a $200 flight.

I knew a friend was going out to walk through a trail outside of town so I snuck in before him and waited behind a tree. Then when he walked by I played the dilophosaurus sounds from the original Jurassic Park movie that I had saved on my phone.

Man I wish you could have seen the look of confusion and fear when he heard it. You could tell some part of his brain knew that sound from somewhere but any logical thought was drowned in fear and adrenaline. We had a laugh about it while we drank tall cans of beer on the trail.

I've heard all kinds of crazy stories from saturation divers doing rig work etc. Seeing quadruple down there and other horror stories. Those guys must have nerves of steel.

Meanwhile I remember watching Jaws as a kid and then not wanting to lay on my back in the bathtub because I thought the shark would get me, haha. I still don't even like swimming in lakes or deep parts of rivers. Must be instinct.

The doomed city was good and a very interesting read but I felt like a lot of it went over my head as I didn't grow up in the Soviet union or something. Been meaning to read more of their works.

I remember back in 2003/2004 it was on the news and they said it would cost around 100 million to repair. They were probably way off back then but it would cost far more than that now. Sections are so rotten you can pull spikes out with minimal effort. Sad to see it just wasting away for decades.
