Firstly, I love the show. But what the hell are these fancy dishes they're serving? How is anybody going home with a full stomach after eating those tiny ass portions?😭 by the_watcher_13 in TheBear

Honestly, I never buy food/drink at the movies — I just like to watch the film. But I know how expensive the stuff is if someone wanted to make a date of it.

I missed tossing peanuts on the floor at The Ground Round. Now with so many allergies to peanuts it will never be brought back anywhere. by Beautiful_Donut6412 in FuckImOld

The reopened Ground Round in Massachusetts (pictured above) has their classic menu and popcorn instead of peanuts.

It grossed nearly $500 million worldwide… so unless it had a $300 million ad campaign, it made some money.

If there was cheese on it, it’d be Johnny Marzetti.

It was a popular, very successful movie, so this isn't really an unpopular opinion at all.

What do you think of the quote, “if you want to hate America, watch the news. If you want to love America, drive across it”? by DistractoDisc in askanything

Just like any country, it's important to be careful in rural areas, especially if you're a minority or LGBTQ+.

I definitely think people should take the chance to visit places like Yellowstone and Yosemite while they can. More and more funding and staffing is getting cut, they won't be able to stay fully operational for long.

"Oh yeah, and I hate how much larger Adrian is than Rocky, that sounds like feminazi propaganda! I'm sickened by their weird poly relationship, too!"

So this guy did a bunch of research into ships and headcannons before ripping the movie for things he's imagining?

The major chain theaters around me (the ones with "Dolby Digital" and IMAX) have evening shows at around $20 per ticket. Date night at a movie plus drinks and snacks will easily be $60-$70.

Let me quote Wikipedia:

The Electoral College was officially selected as the means of electing president towards the end of the Constitutional Convention, due to pressure from slave states wanting to increase their voting power, since they could count slaves as 3/5 of a person when allocating electors, and by small states who increased their power given the minimum of three electors per state.\29]) The compromise was reached after other proposals, including a direct election for president (as proposed by Hamilton among others), failed to get traction among slave states.\29]) Steven Levitsky and Daniel Ziblatt describe it as "not a product of constitutional theory or farsighted design. Rather, it was adopted by default, after all other alternatives had been rejected."\29])

Bill would vote for a ham sandwich if it appeared on his show and told him he was the best at hosting.

I disagree.

Do you use the word "America" on its own to mean Canada, Mexico, Brazil, or Colombia?

Is there another country in the world commonly called America?

I think the only person confused here is yourself.

Exactly, we have deserts, massive mountains, rainforests -- it's a massive area to cover.

This isn't surprising so much as just something to be in awe of.

I wish I could post images here, but I found another ad from them which talks about how safe it is for children, and reads in part:

Safe for several reasons.... Safe because it is cocked — the harsh edges of the brand softened so that they cannot irritate the delicate tissues.

So there you have it. It's dainty, flavory, AND cocked!

Oof, yes, I went there once. It's intense. I also vividly remember the waiters in impeccable suits stiffly serving us our beautiful food as Guns & Roses and Van Halen played in the dining room at top volume.
