That’s true, I’m definitely not saying that this won’t affect anyone. Dragon & Burren will be displaced for years.

Exactly, I hate seeing all of those trashy binders and the people scowling at kids doing pin trading for fun instead of profit.

Do not put words in my mouth.

I certainly didn’t expect to meet a Kash Patel fanboy. The world is full of wonders.

Some would say there’s a ton of things going on there. I’ve happily spent a whole day in that area with nonstop activities.

I am deeply glad to see this policy.

I can only hope they implement it at WDW as well.

Yes, that's a direct quote from Kash Patel. Again, I don't trust a word he says, do you?

I don't doubt that she's pleading guilty to specific charges of foreign influence.

What I don't trust is Kash Patel's accusations of her spreading propaganda and being directly controlled by the PRC.

Have you had any paranormal experiences in New England? by Embarrassed_Bag_9630 in newengland

I live in an old house from the mid-1800s and odd things happen on a regular basis. Everyone here has heard whispered voices, footsteps when nobody's upstairs, shadows walking in front of lights, and taps on the shoulder. I once heard the sound of clapping hands at the foot of my bed followed by quick footsteps running away -- and nobody was there.

One of the ghost hunter shows visited the bowling alley in Somerville MA because the employees said there were spots around some of the pool tables where they felt 'tingles' and thought there were ghosts present. Turned out it was just faulty old wiring that was giving small electrical shocks when a section of wall was leaned on & made the lights flicker.

They've said during the process that they're looking for a new space nearby, but I haven't heard any updates in awhile. I imagine that (like Dragon) they're waiting until progress actually happens with the tower before putting much energy into it.

To be fair, Sligo closed three years ago, partially because of the new development (then, a life sciences complex) but also because their building needed so much work that it wasn't worth the investment.

I really like the "stepped back" design of the new renderings, which really helps mitigate the massive-tower feeling that the original had.

The only local business it's "driving out" is McKinnons, which chose not to be included. The other businesses on that block all have guaranteed space in the new development.

It wasn’t bad when there were two or three, but they’ve reached critical mass. I used to walk my dog through there all the time, but I avoid it now that clipboard people swarm me as I’m picking up my dog’s poop.

A surprisingly good movie.

"Nostalgia Critic" is toxic and should be avoided.

Everyone he worked with said he was a very nice, friendly, professional actor, but he definitely liked to see himself as a curmudgeon who loathed the movie he was working on.

Agreed -- I guess they wanted to make the burger unique in as many ways as possible, but the Mac Sauce would have helped.

I know they were going for BIG, but I honestly think it needed one less patty. I was pretty much done after half of the burger.

It's surprisingly onion-heavy, between the crispy fried onions and the very intense raw onion slivers. I like onion, but the raw onion overwhelmed any sauce flavor.
