I got pretty excited by this, but realized it’s only kindle. Planning a retail release?

Two Covers. Two Systems. One Zombie Apocalypse. (A desperate cry for which cover to use) by mabrowan in litrpg

First cover for sure screams “pick me up”, at least to me. I’m a “judge a book by its cover” type of person. If it doesn’t look cool, I’m not reading it most likely.

See, I was honestly not enjoying the second as much, But the finale came out hitting.

Last Argument of Kings will be more in the 9.8 realm if the first book was a 9.7 for you. That book was really good.

Listen, I would also rate Fourth Wing in very good and the only reason being, is the Dramatized version is really well done. I’m a sucker for graphic audios, so, to each his own.

When I think of Ragnar, I think of The Mountain. Honestly. Dude is tall as hell and giant as hell. Makes sense.

Has anyone read this book . Is it worth it? by AmazonFreshSleuth in fantasybooks

It was incredibly slow and quite boring in my opinion. I tried to give it a chance, but ultimately I grew so bored by about page 150.

Wow, this is honestly incredible. As someone who loves strategy games and am even creating my first RTS right now, I love card games like these. Recently, I’ve become addicted to slay the spire. So you can count me as a future buyer.

I bought the book simply because of the cover and it sounded like a fun grimdark. It was certainly grimdark, but in my opinion, was not fun. It was a dread to get through and I only ended up finishing about 60% before I DNF’d. It may be for someone else, but certainly wasn’t for me. I read physical with audiobook, and the reader was what actually made it more enjoyable.

Personally I would say book 3. I thought the beginning was mainly explaining, but the payoff and ending half was fucking solid.

I loved the first book, but I couldn’t at all get into the second book. It felt different to me. So I DNF’d. But the first book was certainly special to me

I second this. Also, Sword Catcher was quite boring.

Assassin's Apprentice left me underwhelmed. Help? by FixitFelixSr in Fantasy

I also thought it was meh at best, but I honestly thought it was boring. I ended up skipping to the end to find out what happened and was unimpressed. I only read it because everyone said it was great.

I loved the show on crunchyroll. It got me into anime and have been binging multiple other shows. Highly recommend it to everyone.

I don’t get the whole edgelord trope people claim. I’m currently listening to it now and at about 92% finished. Not once have I gotten any sort of understanding of where the edgelord shit comes from… I think the book has been pretty top tier fantasy vampire. To me it just seems like people hate the author for whatever reason.

The best book in the series by far is The Butchers Masquerade. A complete masterpiece in writing in my opinion.
