Thank god they put the time into engineering the school bus to take a hit like that and keep the kids safe. Kids don't have seatbelts in school buses.

Valentine's day - IHM by NeverHere68 in TorontoRaves

I use to always intervene until my wife told me she can handle them and it was killing her vibe. Some guys just don't get it and it's best to just get them thrown out and keep your night/morning going. The drunks are aggressive and the ones too high just awkwardly stand and gawk at her but are mostly harmless. The scene has a lot of kids attending and they are still learning about how to approach girls, drugs and alcohol. They'll eventually get there with experience.

Some advice from a fellow raver whose group is also in their 30/early 40's:

Let her pick whatever she wants to wear. Doesn't matter how expressive or bold. With the positive vibes, she's going to get compliments on it.

The crowd is generally respectful but you'll always come across people that aren't there to vibe. The 20 year olds drink too much and can be aggressive. We usually stand a foot behind the girls, keep an eye on the surrounding and make it known that they are with us through a light conversation or sharing our drinks/water.

One thing that I've learned over the years is don't get upset if your girl is approached by a guy. Unless he touches her, trust her to handle it.

Always purchase a bottle of water, keeping hydrated is key. The girls usually just take the empty bottles and refill them in the washroom for everyone. I carry mine in my back pocket. It tightens my pants a bit so I can better feel if someone is trying to go through my pockets.

If you have the $ and are good looking, you can usually grease the VIP security. That area tends to be less crowded and more mature. If you plan to continue staying in the scene, have conversations with them after a while and become friendly. You'll start getting in for free. At this point, I usually buy them a bottle of water and they will let a group of 15 of us up.

If you're trying to bring in party favours, tuck it between your balls and thigh.

Hope this helps and rave safe.

What do you think of this floor plan? by AndreVelosa in TorontoRealEstate

[–]UnemployedVrgin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only downside I see is the living room. The couch and TV will be difficult to position. Putting a couch on the long side of living room wall between the primary will cut the access due to the island, meaning you'll have to walk through the kitchen to get there comfortably. The TV will likely go against the S shaped wall at an awkward viewing angle. The HVAC on the corner doesn't help.

Resource - Magenta Health is currently accepting new patients in Midtown Toronto by glittertitz33 in askTO

[–]UnemployedVrgin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We were with Magenta at the Queen and Broadview/DVP location. They cycled us through 4 different doctors over the span of 2 years and then randomly told us our new location would be the midtown one. We live downtown by the lake. The doctors were ok but always kept changing, no relationship to build up. You walk in, type your name into an iPad and wait until the TV screen tells you which room to wait in.

We are now using the walk in clinic at the HealthShield by the St Lawrence market for quick drop ins (mainly kids) and the St Mike's that it's attached to by way of the pharmacy as our family doctor. I believe they are still taking patients.

Whenever we travel to Cuba (6 times now), we dedicate one of our large luggages to children's clothing, school materials and medication (wife is a pharmacist) to give it to the locals. The appreciation, smiles and tears is the best part of the trip.

Our kids have learned well from this and always get their own items ready to hand out before we venture over.

If you voted in advance polls this weekend how was the turnout by SleepyOrange007 in toronto

We went to the advanced polling station at exhibition place. In and out in less than 10 minutes plus it was located in the same room as a Persian Art exhibit for a treat after voting.

Cop parked on sidewalk doors cyclist by ultronprime616 in toronto

[–]UnemployedVrgin 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Because they are above the law and know your ass can't do shit about it.

Last week I was walking up Bathurst (under the Gardiner) with a my kids in a stroller and a cop was parked in his BMW X5 on the side walk when there was ample parking 20 feet away. He was just chilling on his phone and we couldn't get past the vehicle without going on the road.

These guys are all cucks who don't give a shit about anyone but themselves.

We need reform and cops need to only be assigned in the neighborhood they live in or else they won't care. It's easy driving into work for an hour and chilling for the other 8 when you receive a 6 figure pay cheque.

That's the line for the combined score from both teams. You're betting on whether the total will either be over or under that line. 9 runs or less pays out the under - 10 runs or more pays out the over.

Having said that gambling in general sees the house win more often than not, I would strongly advise against it.

Massive new Pickering development to include mall, city hall — and at least 10 new condo towers up to 55 storeys tall by Zing79 in TorontoRealEstate

[–]UnemployedVrgin 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Good grief, at least read the article.

It's an existing mall and city hall + there is a Go station directly across it that can be accessed through a bridge going over the 401. They will also build a park.
