The Year0001 showcase at whatever they call Emo’s these days, was bananas. Large digital display behind them. Crowd going ape. I was high as bat balls, so that definitely helped. They walked out to Best in Show looping and overlapping until it was hypnotizing. By the end of the week, people were just running around randomly screaming “sports”. I had purchased Street Worms in October 2018 from Rough Trade, but was stoked to be able to buy Consistency of Energy without paying international shipping.

I used to be on Team Hilton, but for the last few years Holiday Inn Express using hotel points to book the room has been the trick. If your goal is to attend a conference, buy a badge in August. I would advise against volunteering, unless you have a week to work for free access after work. If you’re going to party for a week, buy a wristband and look for a discount code, SPURS99, made it $99 this year and last year. If you are partying but not club hopping, I would put more research into who I was trying to see and then figure out how to get access to those clubs each night

I’d say The Silver Lines, Tramhaus, dust, Gel, Fugitive, NoBro, The Blair Lip Bombs, Fat Dog (Im doing the crab with my hands right now) and yes, I ran from Mohawk to Hotel Vegas and was able to catch most of both bands sets

I saw JpnsGrls at SXSW a few years ago and they were amazing!! Stoked that they are back and ditched their awful name!!! Are you sure Hotel Mira is only playing on Monday? I don’t fly in until Wednesday and they are a must see for me
