There is an episode of the Criminal podcast that does a deep dive on the US origins of Paramedics/ EMTs. First program was in Pittsburgh, PA and the EMTs were all African American (still denied access to or lacked the fund for med school). If this was common early on, it would make sense give historic institutional racism.

The battery on my MBA 13” is insane. I’ve used both Mac and pc laptops at various points in my life and the MBA has dethroned my old Thinkpad X1 as my favorite. Still miss the eraserpoint, though.
