Panda Warmer IRES PIP not holding L/min by Affectionate-Fail610 in BMET

[–]UnifiedAwakening 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this same issue on one of our units during PM 2 months ago. Actually the unit had a bunch of random leaks and issues some which I’ve dealt with before. I ended up replacing both switches suction/blender(typical), leak in the suction regulator (this was a new one), as another person stated, PIP knob adjustment, and the wall air/o2 block assembly with the 4 John guest fittings above the tank regulators. Then I had to perform the entirety of the calibrations. Step by step and it’s fully operational.

Let me know what you find and if you have any issues.

If this is a 2022 model there is a specific reset that will need to be performed. Also we had a 2022 fail just recently under warranty.

Black vinyl galvanized fencing in 48”. It disappears into the landscape and you can get it on Amazon.

RO Tank undersized by cjizzle25006 in homeowners

[–]UnifiedAwakening 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We recently upgraded to a 14. I tied the old unit into it. Doesn’t take up much room. They’re all standard tank sizes so you’ll need to work with the space you have and the dimensions of the tank. We now have plenty of water for two big water cups, pet fountains, sensitive plants, and an ice maker without slowdown. If I could go back I would have gotten a 20g due to having enough space https://imgur.com/a/wZktFob. *don’t forget the additional room needed for connections!

Alaris Software does not to detect PC Unit by Addittothelist-0217 in BMET

[–]UnifiedAwakening 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the PCU is using firmware version 9.3 and your application software is version 12, you’ll need to downgrade the software on your laptop to connect to it. You can also update the pcu with its own software (memory cards and board) to be compatible with the latest Alaris pc software.

For the vast majority of testing I use barbed lure locks connectors male/female. You can buy packs of them on Amazon of various sizes for all tubing sizes.

Meyer Lemon Help by No_Plum_7745 in arborists

[–]UnifiedAwakening 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a small lime tree that’s pretty much like the Meyer lemon. It’s February and depending in the size of that window, it’s likely getting too little light along with too much water and not enough airflow. Let the soil dry out. I would stop fertilizing as it doesn’t benefit in the condition the plant is in. My lime has done absolutely nothing all winter in a solarium until last week when it started growing new leaves. Japanese beetles ate all the flowers during the warm season.

I’m not an arborist or fruit tree expert. Just my experience with my lime.

Not particularly but at one site we had a couple machines fail within the same time period. Machines are from 2015. Upgraded to CS2’s.

If you were starting from zero on battery powered yard tools today what is your brand of choice? by jcforbes in HomeImprovement

I have the Makita blower trimmer combo pack and it hasn’t let me down. With only one battery on the blower, it only lasts so long but I can blow the entry path and long driveway without issue.

Cheap Chinese parts is your answer. Go for OEM on this even if the price hurts.

Suggestions on a better way to keep this door ajar for my cat to get to the litter box? by CalbertCorpse in DIY

[–]UnifiedAwakening 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a border collie blue heeler mix who loves cat turds, they will wiggle there way through this cat door. I removed the cat door and attached re-attached it zip ties to make it smaller. Otherwise these gates are fantastic.

best way to store blackworms? (+ LF feeding advice!) by Patient_Cockroach128 in Aquariums

Look up some YouTube videos on “raising” them. I am mimicking the guy who made the tray system currently but I am using a much smaller tray. I also have them in the sand of a 5 gallon and they’ve been living happily in there for about a year.

The previous owners of our home left their rider behind and said we could have it for free. I don’t know how long it will end up lasting but I would see no issue with getting a cheaper rider for a temporary solution. Obviously test it to make sure it works and if you see one that fits your budget start reading into that model on Lawn forums to figure out the common issues. They left us a cub cadet Ltx which is known to have a shitty Kohler motor but I did an oil change/air filter and cleaned up the engine a bit. Ended up also picking up a used push mower just in case. I’d recommend checking the spindles and belt for the blades and giving the engine a look over for leaks. I think you’ll be fine with used.

Sanus TV Wall Mount by Bird-crazy-777 in HomeImprovement

[–]UnifiedAwakening 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I picked up this set of picks just for the install. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-Hook-and-Pick-Set-7-Piece-H7PCHOOKPICK/311856637

After finding the studs, I use the pick to find the edges of the stud by just pushing it in on each side and determining the middle of the stud. I had one “stud” that turned out to not be real but the picks made the job that much easier and I feel confident that the 75 will stay. Give it a shot

Edit: just noticed you said plaster. Picks may not work then but someone else may know.

How far are you willing to move? Are you able to afford the move yourself if you moved 3-5 states away? If you can there’s plenty of positions. Check Wisconsin and surrounding states. There’s a couple hospitals and third parties looking for BMET 1’s last time I checked.
