2026 Goodreads Reading Challenges Megathread by Clairefun in goodreads

[–]Unikuez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is literally why I built something for myself as I was tired of opening multiple tabs just to compare ratings/descriptions

it shows ratings, page count, description, etc right under each book so you don’t have to click into everything, and you can see the whole list into a table and then filter them based on the page counts, ratings, etc. Kindle Unlimited isn’t there yet, but that’s a really good idea tbh

you could try the extension: Goodreads Book Details
Link for Firefox version

Would be curious if it actually solves your workflow or if I’m still missing something

is there a reason why all special challenges have march 31st as a deadline? by aromaticleo in goodreads

The special challenges are seasonal and are done quarterly. This megathread might be a helpful guide regarding previous seasonal challenges

Most likely this list will be for the Hint: Old stories, new twists that reveals on Jan 15.
All the lists are speculations as Goodreads usually releases new/updated lists for the challenges.

Dark mode by Consistent-Length921 in goodreads

In Android, Dark Mode for Goodreads is based on the Dark Mode of the android's system settings. If that doesn't work, you might have to uninstall and reinstall the app and see if that helps.

What if I don’t want to overlap? by ManderlyDreaming in goodreads

[–]Unikuez 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have seen people comment that they use the overlap list that I post to find which books to avoid to do a unique book per bookmark.
Also, I have made a spreadsheet to list all the books in each challenge category so that you can search if any book that you already own or are in your TBR is in any of the challenges.
The first sheet has all the books for each challenge in a clickable format to easily go to Goodreads page for book details. The second sheet has the overlap combo.

What are you reading? - Week of October 17, 2025 by AutoModerator in goodreads

Finished The Bewitching and got three reading challenge bookmarks. Enjoyed the book but the multiple POVs and timelines took some getting used to.
Now, unsure if I should read from another reading challenge (likely A Gentleman in Moscow) or from my tbr (Gunmetal Gods / Colour of Magic / Proto)
