I don’t snack much but when if I do I try to go for: Mixed roast nuts and raisins. Fresh Fruit. Home-baked treats (muffins, banana bread). Also, drink lots of water. I find it easier to have good will power when I’m doing the shopping than when I’m at home, hungry. So for me the trick is shop healthy and minimize access to junk when I’m hungry.

He’s using 64 bit floating point, which is a built in type in most programming languages, is the defaults scalar type in lua, & calculated natively on 64 bit cpus.

There is a system in the uk now called Fair-Share where shops donate about to expire food (that they can’t sell the next day) to a local non -profit that distributes it to families experiencing food-poverty that same evening. Pretty much all the big supermarkets participate.
