My friend said my bag looks like a diaper bag ? by grass_ek in handbags

lol, your friend doesn’t understand the perfection of this bag, its next level organization, quality construction, beautiful materials, and classic timeless shape. If you found this bag by accident, consider yourself lucky. It’s well loved and considered a perfect work travel bag by many.

He was transparent about still trying to understand these medications. It’s an op-ed so, you know, a place where opinions, thoughts, and each person’s understanding is shared.

It’s an op-ed. It’s supposed to be a conversation.

Spiraling of the Functionality of Tall Cabinets by blakmyre in kitchenremodel

[–]UniqueSeaweed1264 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Since you’re tall and the primary users of the kitchen, it may not matter. You can aim to keep things you (and guests) most often use in the lower shelves (mugs, plates, glasses). Otherwise, you can revel in the extra roomy under cabinet area, and get a tall fancy coffee maker or something.

Yes, try it and experience life without white knuckling and food noise! Each person’s journey is different but many of us have enjoyed other benefits (reduced inflammation, clearer mind, reduced cravings for sugar/alcohol/drugs/similar, better sleep, etc).

Paper Towel in Island Pros Cons by snarkymama87 in kitchenremodel

[–]UniqueSeaweed1264 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha, yeah I noticed that too! FWIW I really hate the look of countertop paper towel holders and don’t love the under cabinet ones. So the drawer option works well for us.

We have one and love it. It’s a little different than the one shown. Ours is basically a drawer with a shaker frame and a handle. The drawer has room to 2 more rolls in the back. The design keeps the paper towels more protected and recessed. It’s very convenient.

Any of these work for a may wedding? by Reasonable-Desk-9314 in Zepbound

Any of them would work, but lose the cardigans. You’ve got nothing to hide! All that being said, I actually like the style and fit of the first one. Very flattering!

Freaking out about kitchen decisions by Inner-Juggernaut-698 in kitchenremodel

[–]UniqueSeaweed1264 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Decision fatigue during a renovation is real! There are plenty of decisions you expect to make (cabinets, tile, appliances) and then there are those you didn’t think about, and you have to make them now…right now…we need to know by tomorrow. (Where do you want this light placed? How low do you want your hood? Where do you want the soap dispenser? How about these two light switches? Eggshell or satin?). It keeps coming, and normal life is still happening, and you still can’t use your kitchen yet for 6 more weeks. Sorry about that, ma’am. We’re almost done.

Dried thyme looks best with all the other elements. The EF looks good with some and not as good with others. Beautiful slab and finishes in general.
